I entered St. Louise De Marillac at the beginning of grade three (1973) I felt valued and a part of a "Whole" (the bigger picture) ... I was able to attend for 4 years and be a part of a "class" that really felt like a family - brothers and sisters - while... 🦋 Jesus Rocked the House 💚 I remember spending what seemed a great deal of focus on the plight of the environment and social injustices. I assumed the adults were being good stewards of "our home" after all, it was as we are ... Alive and Necessary ... I've fallen far from the Grace of those days but I've managed to hold on to my Rose colored glasses and I realize I need to be the change I want to see... Rose hue and all... LOVE ONE ANOTHER...

I was waiting in the hall quietly, respectfully when a woman with short black hair asked me what I was doing. I said "just waiting for my ride and charging my phone." " I usually wait outside but it is was cold" she had said "okay." Then left a few moments passed she came back and said "sorry I talked to my campaign manager and he said you can't stay here." I said "No problem that's fine it's okay I get it." But clearly she didn't have to go and let him know! I wasn't doing anything wrong like playing music or talking on the phone I was being very respectful and quiet. Just a average teenager waiting for her grandpa! Unlike the older gentleman cross the room who WAS taking/making a calls left and right trying to figure out how to connect to the wifi. When she first came in she was talking in a loud voice greeting to the older man from across the room, I guess they know each other. Favoritism/ nepotism runs deep here. If you're not pals with them you're nobody don't expect kindness or sympathy. Really unfair. What sucks is after is after I write this review I'll get treated a lot differently maybe even worse next time I go back.

Catholic Church that seats 700 people, that is centrally located in the City of Covina on the corner of Covina Blvd. and Bonne Cove. There is ample parking in the back of the church. A renovation of the front vestibule has proved brand new bathrooms for men and women which are friendly enough for walkers and wheelchairs. The church offers several Mass times on Sundays: 6:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 12:30 pm and 5:00 pm. During the week they have morning Mass at 6:20 am and at 8:00 am. St. Louise offers first Friday Adoration and first Friday Mass at 6:20 am, 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.
