Was walking a friend's dog I was pet sitting through the Church grounds. As we made our way, I saw a small RV parked off of the side of the lot, out of the way near the baseball diamond.

It was very quiet, not impeding traffic, not tossing trash anywhere.. quite frankly I had no idea anyone was in it until my way back. Cotati PD had arrived & based on the demeanor of the Officer, I got the feeling he knew them & knew they weren't a real issue.

I overheard the woman explaining their devastating story of recently losing their home in an illegal & heartless way. That they just acquired the RV in lieu of cash for helping move a business & currently the RV needed an alternator & her husband had just left in their other vehicle for gas but ran out on the way & was pushing it down the road!

As if these folks weren't having a heartbreaking time already.. the Officer told them the property owner called the station asking them to be removed!
Seriously?!
They were not a nuisance, they were so quiet I didn't know they were in there! They were parked out of the way & stayed out of sight!

What an outstanding example of how truly caring, helpful, loving & dedicated to the word of God this place is! Shouldn't u open ur doors? Feed them? Shelter them? Love thy neighbor?! Treat them the way u want to be treated? Eye for an eye?!
-NOPE! Just turned them away from a simple safe place to park, they didn't ask for anymore than that & u were such a coward u had Cotati PD turn them away for u...

I really enjoyed visiting this church reminded me of my mother in law ma Stella Caywood may she rest in peace... Very devout and old Vatican home presents... Beautiful service

Plenty of open seats in the pew because it is a bigger church. Very friendly is the community and the priests. It is a pretty church. They offer the Eucharist (small individual pieces of unleavened bread and red wine). Music consists of singing and piano and/or guitar.
