Horrible place, unorganized, just don’t bring your children here. Unreliable, yet title it “Crisis nursery”.
Please don’t let it be an Emergency 🚨 because at that point it won’t matter what crisis you’re in. All the funding in the world just to be called super late and not explain or have information to give to a parent. Further delaying time that you may need a break or handle business without a child being present. It’s disgusting and disrespectful to parents that may need a break or simply handling whatever they need to during the duration of allowed time of a child’s stay. It’s all good though, I will NEVER place my child here again. Staff are untrained and talk about the children anyway. What a shame! This place will definitely be scratched off the list!

This place is nothing like it used to be. They were so reliable and helpful in 2016. A lot has changed since then and I can no longer consider the Crisis Nursery as a part of my support system. They rarely approve the hours that you request. They want to do “body checks” when you drop off your child, but not when you pick them up. They now want you to provide proof of what your doing while your child is there. Why is this important? I value my privacy! I’m a single mom with no family and chronic health issues and my child is disabled. Sometimes I just need a break. I just want to catch up on some sleep, clean up, etc. My intentions are for the benefit of my child not myself. Just want him to be in an environment where he could get the things that I’m not always able to provide when I’m not feeling well… This place is a joke.

I am crying on my way home because I feel like a horrible parent for leaving my child there. The worst experience I've ever had and dealing with a daycare as far intake. I'm leaving him there tonight but I'm never going back after that.

This place is great. I needed emergency child care for my 3 year old due to unforeseen circumstances and this place was a life saver. Because of this place I was able to keep working untill I was able to find more permanent child care. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. My son was so excited every morning to go here. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I am so thankful this place exist. I only wish I could give them more stars.

About 7 months ago my two infant Irish Twins were placed on crisis nursery north so I could find a job as I was a single mom needing to get on my own feet to take care of my girls. I was practically living in my car at one point. Well I entrusted my kids with them and by the time I took them out had a job at Carl's....two weeks time...my 14 month old had a black and blue forehead and chin. Luckily nothing seemed wrong with my 4 month old seemed OK. So sad though to know that they have never had that happen in my care but at this safe children's place it happened. Not to mention I saw one worker smiling the rest were straight faced. If I weren't in that position I would've never left them there but how rude and sad and awful to do that to children when they are in a hardship of heart wrenching measures ....she "tripped".... I don't think so I have seen her trip many times since in our beautiful home and on concrete ground. I don't think that is what happened. Beware parents. I wanted to sue but it's the county and I'm scared to mess with that big of an organization. You know they have their ways of ruining your life as well being that big. So 7 months later I have the courage to write this review.

All of the staff are incredible! Through this pandemic and losing daycare, they have helped me so much. I always recommend them to struggling mothers or fathers. My son gets so excited to go there (: I see these reviews saying they are terrible...never had a bad experience with this crisis nursery, in fact ive gotten to know some of the staff & they have given me some great pointers & advice regarding my son. The nursery helped me with my twins when we became homeless. We had no family on the west coast or anyone that could help. I was pregnant at the time and very overwhelmed, stressed and bordering depression. It was a huge relief to know that my babies were well taken care of with food and a nice bed to sleep in. My husband found us great place to live in a month and it all worked out.

The soonest you can call is the day before and you still have to wait several hours before getting an answer if your kid can come or not. If your having a real CRISIS, this place shouldn’t be your first option, as there is no guarantee that they will accept your child. Let’s say you have to go to work, and they tell you at the last minute that they cannot accommodate your child. You’ll be fired! Smh Or what if your having a mental CRISIS, have no support system and need care as soon as possible. You call them. But they “can’t” accommodate your child until the next day…. But this is the CRISIS Nursery….. hmmm
