The Rotary Club of Concord, CA is outstanding club committed to “Service above self.” Eack weekly meeting is very lively with typically a very interesting program. The club is committed to community service such as working with the Solano/Contra Costa County Food Bank and providing dictionaries to elementary school school students. Big event this year was hosting a medical.contingent from Ukraine for a week. The club has raised a significant amount of dollars to help the Ukrainians. Involved in many international projects. The club meets at 12:15pm at the Concord Historical Society event center on Clayton Road near Gallind.

This has got to be one of the best Rotary Clubs in the Bay Area. Since 1947 it has continued to serve the Concord community with projects serving schools, parks, the homeless, food bank and the environment. Internationally, it has worked in African & Latin America providing water, schools and healthcare and recently hosted doctors from the Ukraine. Want to give a hand, this is the place to come and join in fellowship. I'm amazed at what they do and offer.

In my short time as being a member of this amazing club I have had the privilege of being a part of the Youth Exchange Program. This was made possible by a very active member who has mentored me and showed her passion for serving the community by being so devoted to the Youth Exchange Program. This is wonderful group of likeminded individuals who want to help support the local community and beyond.

Meeting at the CHS site is just great. Very nice building and the box lunch deal is very good also.
