Had a great experience at Rosie’s Place. Isabell was so kind and helpful—she made me feel welcome and cared for. The staff truly go above and beyond. Grateful for this amazing pantry!

Rosies is amazing, between the helpful Adovacates and overall staff, what they door for the women who come to Rosies is commendable and respectable.

Staff treated me with respect and a special shout out to Joyce, the Overnight Manager. She is an incredible person, helped change my life for the better, one of the most understanding people I have ever met and she has a rockin’ staff 😊

My only (personal) issue is 2 of ladies at the front desk during the week: the duo are some rudest people I have ever met. Their job is difficult, I have seen first hand just how much deal with dring the week, so you'd think they'd appreciate someone respectful.

Personal feelins aside, I HIGHLY recommend a visit to RP if you find yourself in a bad (or unhoused) situation.

I have been to Rosie's for several years now. They have been helpful in the past. But in recent years the help and services have been really disappointing. They say they will call you back for a matter and never do. You have to go there constantly and hope to get help. The people in the front desk are now mostly Hispanics, they are so rude. These ladies think they rule this place just because they are at the front desk. Most of the staff are rude and not compassionate at all. I saw another reviewer complained about an advocate named Mikayla, same thing happened to me she was rude and have a nasty attitude. She doesnt belong at Rosie's. She cant even speak nicely to people in need. The food at Rosie's is absolutely disgusting, not fresh and made me sick several times I no longer eat there. The only positives are the food pantry and advocate Aisha she is nice and helpful.

I've sought help from Rosie's Place intermittently from 2003 to the present. I'm usually pleasantly surprised at their generosity and the quality of advocates who work for them. For instance, one of the advocates getting knocks on this page is one who's helped me the most, Mikayla. She's always pleasant and knowledgeable to me, but to others-to each her own I guess. Rosie's Place guests have changed too. English is not many of the guests' first language now. I'm sure Kip Tiernan, the founder, would be proud knowing Rosie's moved along with the needs of the surrounding community. It makes me smile each time I go there. It's so different from what it used to be 20 years ago, but so are we all. Rosie's is not just a resource agency, but a trusted friend. No matter if the guests and staff change, it still offers superior resources. I thank God that Ellen, Sandy and Erin are still there. They helped create the foundation. I love Rosie's Place.
