Staf and services are very accommodating. Definitely help out in every way that they can. Me and my wife unfortunately have been staying here for the past couple of months. I have nothing bad to say at all. Safe parking and everything.

I was able to stay at RMH for a few weeks while my daughter was in the NICU. I can’t say enough about how amazing the staff is! They welcomed me with open arms and made sure I had everything I needed. They checked on me daily and encouraged me all throughout my stay, especially on harder days. I felt safe, the facility was always and there were incredible meals provided by volunteers. Also, the shuttle drivers were a huge help in getting me back and forth to the hospital despite wintertime in Detroit and keeping me company. Everyone at RMH Detroit went above and beyond!

A beautiful place They help so many people that r sick and their families My family saves aluminum tabs from cans and take them there so they csn recycle the tabs for money to help w.costs This year we've donated 24 copy paper boxes to Ronald McDonald House filled w.tabs They do a fantastic job of taking care of children

RMHC provides a complimentary home away from home, where you can remain close to your child(ren) during their hospitalization at Children’s Hospital. It is a nonprofit organization that is greatly supported by many, such as: Coca-Cola, Detroit Redwings, Southwest Airlines, La-Z-Boy, etc.

We heard about RMHC in 2023 when our grandson was hospitalized for over two weeks. He has Short Bowel Syndrome, and was awaiting surgery, so we were encouraged to give them a call and inquire about open availability. By the grace of God, we were welcomed with open arms by staff, who were very professional and warmhearted.

The facility is Absolutely Beautiful it looks like a mansion. They provide food, toiletries and a variety of much needed supplies that residents may need in addition to a complimentary Beautiful home away from home. Each residence has their own private room - 1 queen/1 twin bed, flatscreen, private bathroom with shower (no tub), and a cabinet for storing/hanging your clothing/personal items. RMHC has various locations in Michigan with one being in Downtown Detroit, housing 28 residents.

There is a nice children’s playroom with a flatscreen tv, as well as a game room next door for the Youths/adults to enjoy. There are 2-3 lounge rooms with very comfortable furniture. Each room has its own flatscreen for more family privacy and comfort. One of the rooms has an electric fireplace for an enjoyable cozy evening There’s also a room with laptops stationary, convenient for your business needs. There are additional bathrooms, and a water fountain just outside the kitchen through the hallway.

You’d think the kitchen would look like a cafeteria being that RMHC houses 28 residents, but it actually looks like a grand modernistic kitchen, It’s very clean and pleasantly scented, that seats 40-50 people. There are plenty of gadgets e.g. coffee makers, blenders, etc. they have 6 stainless steel fridges, 2 ranges, 2 microwaves, 1 air fryer microwave, 2 sinks, and plenty of countertops and open space. There is fresh food to eat daily that is complimentary, and there are also various chefs who comes by during the week to prepare fresh meals, from breakfast to dinner.

RMCH has an outside lounge area with a swinging bench, furnished gazebo with netting, and let’s top it off with… a human sized Ronald McDonald ceramic figurine sitting on the bench enjoying his fruits of his labor😉 his legacy😎

Lastly, but definitely not the least… RMCH inside facility is a SMOKE-FREE ZONE of any kind 🚭 They provide us with the best, assuring us convenience, so that we’re able to be close to our children who are hospitalized at Children’s Hospital, and it’s all complimentary🙏🏽🙌🏽 so let’s respect OUR facility. The facility that facilitates us - we’re all in this together👍🏽✌🏽💜💜💜

Beautiful atmosphere that's available for families to stay overnight when their children are admitted to the hospital down the street. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Large kitchen where families can prepare food and eat together. Free wifi. Free shuttle service to & from children's hospital. Playroom, gameroom, laundry room & workout room available. You must do your part to help keep the facility safe & clean. Located less than a mile from the hospital.
