We were so incredibly thankful to have a nice place to stay, close to our son who was having open heart surgery. He was transported from another hospital & it was a very scary time for us, with him coding & needing to be brought back to life & having emergency surgery. We had a long stay & they provided food, shelter & everything we could need. One of our biggest worries was that we would have to drive 2 hours everyday to see our son & that would be incredibly expensive for as long as we would be there & this place made it so we could be close to him at all hours & then when we would get tired, they provided a place to eat, shower & rest within walking distance of the hospital. Unfortunately his second open heart surgery they were full & we couldn’t stay here & had to pay for hotels , but will never forget our stay & can’t say thank you enough. We have since donated & will be back to cook meals & help families in anyway that we can

Visited my friends staying here while their daughter is in the NICU. Nice space for families, the rooms could use some TLC. I cleaned our friends room while I was there,
she had just had a C-section and couldn’t, because there about 1/4 inch of dust on the ceiling vent, the tub was disgusting and brown and there were chunks under the bed I vacuumed from the last guests. I wiped down the walls and scrubbed the toilet. She has to pump breast milk in there and go see a tiny NICU baby, it should have been clean when she got there.

They are truly amazing here! So helpful specially when you need it the most! Their rooms are excellent! And the kitchen and dining room area is wonderful! It has everything you need to do anything you need! The rooms are very cozy with your own bathroom and ac/heat that you can control it's seriously like a 5 star hotel and the people that work here are so helpful! They have a couple places you can sit down and relax other than your rooms as well which is very nice!

The RMH in Ann Arbor was a true blessing for our family when we lived too far away from the hospital when our newborn child was critically ill. We were offered room/board and meals for as long as we needed for many months. I was Nursing and the staff arranged for a breast pump and mini fridge in our room. When our child passed away, we were treated with kindness and compassion. Bittersweet memories for sure. The house is clean, welcoming and quiet. A true Godsend. Thank you RMH, Ann Arbor.

Ronald McDonald House was so kind and sweet to my family during my son's illness. Everything was quiet and tranquil, but everyone had a smile or encouraging word for you or your child. No TVs in the room, but we were always so tired when we finally got to lay down, we didn't care about the television or lack thereof. I loved this place. This -home away from home. They are truly Angels of mercy at Ronald McDonald House. I'd like to publicly thank all the employees and the moms and dads who were praying for their children as we prayed for our Son.
