This Place Is a Joke.. They will say there out of funds and they can only help during mid crisis. I've been helped one time and that was two yrs ago. They said ur allowed to come once a year so why when I called they said you've been helped before and we can't help no more. Wonder where the funds go if there not helping anybody.

I've never in my life asked for any help from any organization. I've always donated to charities and my Husband donates to the RF through is employer. We had 30 days to find a new house & coming up with a deposit & rent is not easy with a one income household. We found a home & our new Landlord was absolutely NOT willing to work with us on the first month rent & deposit & we were running out of time. The Riverfund paid our first month rent for us! This was absolutely 10000% appreciated in every single way! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! I have been unable to work for the past 2 years due to medical problems & this organization didn't even ask why or judge us for our predicament. We will ALWAYS donate to this fund because they truly do help people in need. I strongly encourage everyone that can, to donate. You will truly be helping people so much & it feels amazing to be a part of such a great organization & community. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ?

They were there for me a few years ago when my mom died, leaving us financial hardship. They paid my MEC bill with very few questions asked. The only thing that they requested was an up to the minute bill. I walked down to MEC the same day of my appointment and my bill was paid. I can't say enough good things about this group!

Heard great things, was sadly disappointed when I inquired within. My husband and I live in our vehicle and were passing thru when our transmission failed. Was told the only way they could help us was if we were willing to abandon our home and take a Greyhound anywhere but here. Looked into other options, found a way to tow our home where we needed to go, but would require a rental vehicle to follow the tow truck. My insurance covered that expense, but when I called to ask about the bus ticket to go get the rental, was told that's not how they help people. Ironic they'll only help if one is willing to grovel and lower themselves to a worse situation, instead of long term compassion. This organization only cares about getting rid of you.

I was in desperate need to get out of town and back to my family. I walked in and told them where I needed to go. They helped me with a bus ticket in no time at all, and they did it with a smile on their faces. Thank you so much River fund for your generosity and kindness.

Amazing people work here Joel help me out and she did amazing job I had some car repairs need Ed I live out of my vehicle and she worked tirelessly to help me in my time of need. I don't know where I would be without these people right now I live in my car and homeless and I almost became even more homeless that day thank you Joel!

You know, not even one star. I went in for help with rent. I have been on unpaid leave with sepsis and an amputation. I was told I have to have a 5 day notice and then could only receive 100 dollars. I need 400. What good does 100.00 do to not be evicted
