At the RISE DTA in Surprise, our members are currently living a great life by participating in daily group activities, having the ability to choose individual activities and being able to socialize with a large group of "friends''. We have a lot of fun in the month by attending various outings to; stores, activities, zoos, museums, plays/productions and so much more. We participate in arts and crafts, book club, game club, ASL club and more. We learn to cook small snacks/meals that we can make at home and we learn money management through our outings. Our facility is neat and clean and we all take part in making sure "our house" is in the best condition possible. We have competitions to clean the best, decorate the best, participate the best and more. We can earn "Shining Star'' Awards for going above and beyond and we can win prizes for some of the games and activities we have at the DTA. Members are asked for their opinions, feedback and ideas for outings, we are flexible and can change based on the wants and needs of the members. We are whole person focused and make sure that everyone is respected equally. This DTA has been a life changing experience for many.

I wouldn’t recommend taking your child here they are always under staffed,I also wouldn’t recommend working here they lie to you and make promises they can’t keep. I repeat do not work or take your child to rise.
