It's a pretty good place to get food and resources,so far I can choose to get a snack bag or a lot of food every two weeks, they often get rid of stuff fast so it's best to go as soon as you can and bring a car or a cart.I can even get bus cards as long as I bring proof an appointment like though email or paper.I also got a PHONE for FREE as long as I got link or I'D,Its often a line so it will be between 15 two 25 minutes long once you sign your name and get called for your food.Lastly I recommend you ask for more when getting your sone get milk and bread while other's don't I personally had to ask for tissue which they do have hygiene items.Don't be afraid to ask.

Went to donate some items that people down on their luck don’t have to pay for. I brought in nice, gently used clothing, 2 brand new Sealy pillows w new zip covers over them. Everyone wants nice clean bedding, right? And a couple different sized roller suitcases w all working parts, even useful in moving or storing items. I’ve been there, am gathering more to donate. Nothing junky.

If I could give them 0 * I would maybe back some years ago they would have got a better rating from me but respond now in Chicago Heights has completely gone downhill so much it's like they're almost Underground. I have had to go in there more than once for assistance and I don't know why but they don't ever seem to have any food to give to me or any anyting else any real assistance I've seen other people walking out with bags of foods and things but I think that respond needs to be totally revamped and some new bosses taking over. or the people that are actually working there need to be reprimanded for taking clothes and good food and I do know this because I used to donate really nice clothes they're back in the late 90s and I would see the women employees wearing them when I would come in to drop off more clothes... shameshame.
