I strongly hope that no one goes through the experience that I had at this branch, I banked with redwood credit union for 3 years and I asked this branch for some help because I was struggling and I had a 500 dollar credit card debt that I couldn't pay and I was calling them and going inside the place to show them I'm not trying to ghost you guys and I am really going through some hard times. But they said they could not help me. So I ended up getting the money and I went down there and paid them, well they said they wrote me off! I asked why did they take my money then if it went to collections then? They said I was going to have to pay them either way and because I couldn't pay my 12 dollar fee for my account they wrote me off. So I wasn't able to get into my online account but then when I finally got into it there was 150,000 reward points and that is redeemable for $120 or $150. So I went back in there and I told the lady that I was asking for help the whole time and I told her why couldn't you tell me that I had reward points so I could get cash and I could have paid that towards my account and it wouldn't but she said she did not know because they don't do the online accounts that they just work in the branch. I also asked her so can we fix this and she said no there's nothing they can do about it. I tried opening a checking account and they wouldn't let me, some heavy set Mexican guy had told me that they did open a checking account for me and he said let's see how you behave in the next month. I'm so upset with the way this guy carried himself and to act like he was paying me to bank with them! He's definitely my least favorite person from Cloverdale branch. They opened 3 savings accounts for me and did not let me open a checking account. I finally got a job and had the pay stubs and they still said that I wasn't able to open a checking account. I banked with them for three years and I had a 18,000 dollar car loan and it was paid off in full, and they wrote me off and damaged my credit because I wasn't able to pay a 12 annual fee. I was heart broken for real I thought I was going to get some kind of help or at least they could have fixed my account because I was there in person and telling them that I will pay as soon as I get some money and they didn't even care. I like redwood credit union just not this branch and I have every right to, I paid them allot of money and had a really bad experience when I was going through some rough times, I shouldn't have expected anything from them because then I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

Great RCU in the Ray's shopping center. Conveniently located next to a UPS Store, CVS and a delicious Mexican restaurant. I appreciate all the RCU locations, as they truly serve our community and give back. The branch here is as clean and the workers helpful.

Phone support has never been a problem. Short waits. Attitudes towards new customers and non "VIP" customers are poor. Anything out of the ordinary is considered a "hassle". RCU - Out of tune with the times, Out of tune with the geography. They obviously hire right from the street and train their people to behave this way. Poor leadership. Indifferent.
I am looking for a real credit union.

Today I called customer service, the ENTIRE CALL (phone tree included) took 3 mins. I timed it. Mitch did an incredible job of handling my needs effectively, and was VERY respectful of both me and my time.
I have been banking with RCU for almost 15 years, and HIGHLY reccommend them to anyone who will listen! Mahalo!!!!!!
