I have met attorneys who were attorneys in name only, and that was that. Joe Recka is an attorney in life and in person; everything about him communicates who he is. Most important, he knows what he is doing and why he is doing what he is doing.
My acquaintance with him was through a good friend of mine that had a serious legal matter. During the handling of the matter, Joe's mannerism and methodology were impeccable. His focus on the legal matter was frozen in and he persisted that we do that same.
After the matter was closed, I stated to my friend that if Joe had not been the attorney handling the case, the out come would have been totally negative and ruinous. My friend and i could not have been more pleased and thankful for what he accomplished.
During the handling of the case, we were able to watch his paralegal, Lorrie, and him work together in answering each statement of the case. He is a no mess around guy and his responses flowed; very welled versed.
First, thank you, Joe, for what you accomplish. We do not believe another could have done as well. You have our heart's felt gratitude.

I found Joe to be matter-of-fact, to-the-point and a get-it-done kind of man. And that's exactly what I needed during a difficult divorce process, already raging with emotions. Each visit he reminded me why I was there, using the same sentence every time, helped me stay focused on what I wanted in the end. Lorrie, my paralegal, had all my paperwork in order, reminded me of things I needed to do, scheduled all my visits, and added the personal touch I still needed, someone to understand how difficult this was. This guy is a joke. I was trying to quietly explain an inaccuracy in court and he yelled at me to "shut up". He was trying to sue my ex for something that I didn't want. It was a mess and I fired him.

This people would ONLY take your money, DO NOT HIRE THE RECKA & ASSOCIATES....I had a case with this people and as soon as they got the money they threw my case to the trash with out resolving it all the way. There last words from them were oooh Joe don't want this case no more.... Now they left me with some bill that they dint take care of, now i got to deal with Collection.....
