I go to RC Wisener Park. At least once a week. I usually go there to pick-up my Granddaughter after school. The school bus drops kids there. The city transit and the county transit buses also pick-up and drop off there.
The park is well shaded and has three Little League ball diamonds and a snack bar that is open when games are being played. The restroom facilities are kept reasonably clean, as are the picnic tables. There is only one B.B.Q pit , so have a plan B, just in case.
The Chowchilla Civic Center, and the Chowchilla Police Department are both across the street on opposite corners. Convenient parking on three sides of the park. The play ground has amenities for two age groups.5yrs. and under on one side and 6 and up on the other side. Kids & parents are friendly and get along most of the time.

We were traveling on Hwy 99 looking for a park for a picnic lunch. Found this one on Google maps. It has 4 covered picnic tables that are clean and in good repair by the children’s play area. Lots of shade trees and a nice breeze on this 95 degrees day. Kids were playing, we felt safe. Clean restrooms. Very pleasant place for a picnic!

Fairly private though it's public, right across from the police station so it's safe but the thing I liked most about this park is that they chose to use old tires for the ground instead of sand or wood chips. It was considerably softer and cleaner to fall on and I liked that they made an environmentaly conscious choice so less used tires would end up in a land fill.

Over the past few years they have done some major renovations. I like that it's across from the police station and the playground is between the fields. There is no "safe" place to park because of the risk of fowl balls and home runs but it's a very nice park.

This park is beautiful, it has 2 baseball fields, some batting cages that i dont think get used often. It also has bathroom and a nice play area for kits, also has plenty of space for barbecues

I was visiting from out of state to watch my cousin's baseball game. I loved this park! It's clean, all of the playground equipment is new and safe. It was a beautiful day for me!
