This place was amazing! I went during their Wed evening open sew, and they had everything! Cutting stations, supplies, sewing machines! And the two teachers were so knowledgeable but they also didn’t hover. I will return again and again and bring fabric donations to lessen my stash! Please visit and support.

* note on Apple Maps it either has the wrong address or says it’s closed. It’s not only google has right info

Had so much fun at my first quilting class! The atmosphere was so welcoming-- good music, good people, good vibes. Liz and Chloe were great teachers. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new hobby in the valley!

Went for the first time last night for the free quilting lessons and made almost the whole top to my quilt in the first session. I’m not a super newbie to sewing but I’ll tell you it was gratifying to see how quickly it all came together since Liz (the owner) had all the supplies cut, a pattern to follow and sewing machines threaded and ready to go.

That’s not the whole point though. It’s the vibe in the shop and the community of participants all working together that’s the magic. It was a full shop last night which means about 12 people. There were all ages, sexes and colors represented which was cool. Before going all I pictured was a bunch of old ladies gossiping over coffee but that’s definitely not the case. There was music, good conversation and the regulars were very helpful and inclusive. I didn’t feel like an outsider or the new girl, they were welcoming and not cliquish.

Gotta say I loved it and it’s going to be my new Wednesday night hang. I’ll upload a pic once I get the first one completed. This one is floral/garden themed.

I absolutely love Quilting for Community, and highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for their new hobby, and to meet new people!

It's definitely one of my happy places. I like learning a new skill and knowing my finished quilt will go to help those in need. It's very gratifying! Plus, the people there each day are so wonderful. 😁💕

They are also a fabric and sewing thrift shop, so it's also the perfect place if you want vintage patterns, cool fabrics, yarn, buttons, or a new project.

What a great experience I had with this group. On the anniversary of my father’s passing, I was had three quilts made from all of my dad’s favorite T-shirts. The care and quality that the quilts were made with, I cannot express enough, the gratitude that I have. Thank you Quilting for community.
