I’d like to say from my experience of seeing the group is that you guys are simply awesome!!
I have high functioning autism and it really warms my heart to know their are people like you (Greg and Melissa) who take the time and energy to help teach everyone at promoting abilities the basics of living independently. I am a bus operator as you guys will know and it is always an honor and blessing to see you and your group!
They are so nice and just being themselves makes me so happy and excited and just simply makes my job so much better. I may not have gotten to experience first hand what you guys do but from what you guys tell me and what I have seen on your Facebook page and just from seeing your entire group in person all of your students (past and present) are benefiting from it tremendously! You guys and your group are even an inspiration for me to push myself to be better in many parts of my life and all that happened was that we see each other from time to time at my bus job! How cool is that?

Promoting abilities goal is to help those with disabilities (physically and mentally) to be as independent as possible and in the years I’ve seen your groups they are always happy and have fun learning how to be independent and I’m so blessed to be even just a small part of their experience in learning about being independent even if all I do is pick you guys up and drop you off at your destinations. 😊

Clients are taught the skills needed for them to "graduate" from the program and become independent in the community. Lots of hands on practice and community involvement. Great program and great business model.
