I wanted to share my experience from the other day.
I left a 4 star because I genuinely love this thrift store. Probably one of my favorites to shop at.
But as of the other day, my least favorite to donate at.

I have a thrift booth, and a booth for decor etc. I also have two separate households that spring clean and purge often. I have 1 vehicle I fill with donations until I have a full load. Then I bring everything in.

I finally was able to bring in a haul. One of the women taking donations was so rude it made me never want to donate here again.
We don’t take things you lay a baby in (new pack n play). This is garbage (a handled tote to make your own detergent, some empty spray bottles for re-use, and new dryer balls).
Does this even work or is it trash (a bissel floor cleaner that wasn’t the right fit for commercial cleaning). All with a tone and a scowl. If

So I’m just emptying my car while this lady is judging, annoyed, throwing things in the garbage every time I come back in.

I’ve donated electronics. Brand new items. Things from inside my house that I have multiple of. Google nests. Home cameras. Gaming systems. So many things.

I will just stick to donating at love inc where they are appreciative and helpful.
But I still enjoy shopping here and the wonderful women working in the store 🩷

Great resale shop. They use the money to help others and to replenish their food bank. A great place to donate unwanted items. They have a large selection of anything you could possibly need from clothing to household. Parents can find sports shoes and equipment at this store. They also sell antique items.

Great organization and probably the best food pantry in the area, just unfortunately run by some extremely nice but also some rude people who ruin the whole experience here. I was banned from this organization by the store manager for expressing my 2nd amendment rights, by expressing my concerns about this place. Although it may not be illegal to ban me, discrimination is illegal, and I guarantee the Jansens would like to know how the community is being treated. Since the retaliation I received for making a review about the people running this organization, and am no being discriminated, seeing how my review isn’t the only “bad” review, I have felt the need to report them to the BBB.

Was a good pantry, has really gone down hill! Friends in Kent county get more, higher quality foods and don't get expired or nasty vegetables that were frozen . I get one can of each thing, to last a month with bridge card funds of $28.! The staff do help others by putting out special things after our turns. Maybe I dress to nice in my sweats😂 What would Annetta think?
