My wife and are heavily active in coaching high school sports and pouring into the lives of our young people, but we have never done anything in youth ministry…until now. Since their arrival Pastor Apollo and his wife, Ashley, made it a point to not only get to know our talents, but also get to know us as people in order to best use them in a different setting.

Pastor Apollo is relatable and authentic when he speaks to you. He genuinely cares about the people in his charge and it shows when you talk to him; nothing else matters and no one is more important than whoever he is engaging with at that moment. He is the type of pastor that wants the best for you even if you do not what that is or what it even looks like; he speaks life into people.

Something special is happening at Port City - McGraft and we are fortunate to have a front seat and be part of its foundation. I will say, with confidence, that this is a church for everyone and Pastor Apollo and his family will do their absolute best to not only make you feel welcome, but find a way to plug you and your talents into ministry when you are ready to answer that call. After all, your talents are God’s gift to you…what you do with those talents are your gifts back to Him.

It's been a long time since I've found a church that felt like home. The people are kind, the pastor is personable and they have a great space that you can trust for your kids to play. I'm a very private person and sometimes I find it hard to find an environment that I can let my guard down. This church is a safe space and I highly recommend you give it a try. We moved back home about 7 months ago and I promised myself I would find a church… well sometimes that’s easier said than done!!! Then one Day God put Pastor Apollo into my path and he invited me to check out his church!!! Took me a few weekends to get the guts to just go and not be held back!! I will never feel more blessed than that day I decided to Check them out. It’s a family, and a church that really makes you feel at home. I never felt judged or not enough!! I also love the worship part!! Pastor Apollo speaks with great passion and his sermons really have helped me reflect on where my life is needing to go in my journey with God. If you’re looking for a family oriented, passionate church service with wonderful worship music this is your home!!! I also love how they have a WONDERFUL children’s area for the kids!! My kids are excited every Sunday morning to get up and go!!!

I have loved being a part of Port City - McGraft for about 4 years now. My family was welcomed and accepted into the multigenerational congregation quickly, who are now an invested part of my community. I have been a part of small groups, the worship team, and audio visual team - all which have been positive experiences surrounded kind people all at different stages in their walk with God, but eager to learn more about Him. My son loves his Sunday school classmates and always tells me his favorite part of the day was church. I’ve loved the worship & mission minded sermons most. Been going to Port City Church at McGraft campus for almost 2yrs now! Absolutely love it! Truly have found my church! Many friends and family members also love to attend! Pastor Apollo is get and so down to earth. Very easy to talk to and relates to Bible to real life events as well which is easy to understand/relate to. Definitely have found my church family! Have been baptized this past May and started volunteering in the Cafe. Check it out! You will not regret it!! 🙏😃

I have been attending church service at McGraft for many years. We have had four pastors. McGraft has been blessed with those pastors. Pastor Apollo stands out from all. His weekly message gives us hope and encouragement to be a better person. His personality is contagious. He welcomes all on arrival and farewells all after each service. You can't help but to smile and feel good about yourself after spending so little time with Pastor Apollo. Again, I say we are BLESSED!
