Amazing service! My family’s financial situation changed very suddenly and our budget was effectively cut in half, thanks to this place, my family gets to eat very well on a very small budget. My entire family is so grateful to Porchlight for the work that they do!

Patty and Cheryl, volunteers at Porchlight, were so kind and welcoming! They took the time to show me everything and walked me through their clean and organized location. I was amazed with the selection of gourmet items and it was fun getting to pick out things while listening to Christmas carols! I'm very grateful to Porchlight!!!

I agree wholly with Anthony! Porch light is a great cause and the volunteers are professional and kind. The person that runs the place, Claudia is SO RUDE. Many volunteers come to me sharing their same experience. Don't take it personally Anthony!

after posting the above review, I received the following letter from Claudia. She is not only rude, she is a LIAR. I also volunteered for this pantry for 4 years, driving the van, hosting pantry, writing grants and attending community events.

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to talk with you about your participation in the Porchlight Community. We value a respectful environment for all members, but we've faced ongoing issues regarding your conduct.

Your interactions with several hosts, such as verbally raising your voice at the Thursday hosts, ignoring Sunday’s hosts' request to keep your wagon within close proximity while shopping, and your disparaging remarks regarding me on a public forum, lead me to conclude you don’t truly value or appreciate the services we provide. These incidents have been uncalled for, inconsiderate, and disrespectful.

Despite attempts to address these concerns, improvements haven't been observed. Unfortunately, I must terminate your participation. This decision ensures a positive atmosphere for our community. I appreciate your understanding and believe this step is best for everyone.

I have canceled your appointment for Oct 7 @3:30 p.m. and refunded the $36.36 you paid through Stripe under your daughter's name, Mila Lopez.

Porchlight is a wonderful local pantry that does amazing work in support of those experiencing food insecurity. The Program Coordinator and Volunteers are friendly and wonderful people. They are very appreciative to receive donated food items I collected from within our community. Thank you all for the amazing work you do!

Great idea and awesome to help the public. When it comes to working there on the payroll I will say very unprofessional. I'm not going to list the three factoring deal breakers but I will say. The van was unsafe. Other then the unprofessionalism the staff were nice and friendly. Once again great cause.
