Exceeded expectations caring for my dying mother. The treatment team communicated clearly with me at every stage and were without exception caring, responsible and helpful. I've worked in many nursing homes and could recognize this is top notch. The nurse practitioner was capable, helpful, and compassionate; it was easy to love her. All the staff -- the care director, physical therapy, social worker, all the nursing staff -- was fantastic. I'm so grateful Mom was in their loving hands those last days of her life.

My husband is at Pike Creek for rehabilitation. The staff has been awesome. Very pleasant and top notch at their jobs. A few times his meals were off, but the nurse brought him what he wanted when asked. Therapy is a little easier than another facility he was in years ago.if you are looking for heavy on therapy, not here. We have been satisfied with his care. I would add that Trish, his physical therapist was awesome!

Im not sure how this place is averaging 3.8 stars . If you or your loved one is unable to take care of themselves or self advocate, this is not the place for them. They are severely understaffed. I constantly overheard the staff talk about how they have 20+ patients to care for and this was during second shift. If you’re not aware of regulations, that ratio is not allowed and the facility should not be operating that understaffed . I’m referring mainly to the skilled nursing dept. The food they feed residents is disgusting . Beans and hot dogs are often on the menu. The place smells like urine as soon as you walk in. Patients are lucky if they get a weekly shower. No one responds to calls or emails. We’ve literally had to walk in and demand to speak with an administrator. I’ve been to many Ltcf for work and looking for permanent placement for my parent. This is by far one of the worst .

My experience is that while there are good hard working people who care here that this place needs more workers to serve the patients. Too many times I saw patients waiting a long time for help. They deserve dignity and timely assistance for basic human needs. There was not enough staff to meet these basic needs in a timely fashion to care for the patients. The food is horrible and meager rarely matching what is listed on the printed menu. It is a money grab from the owners only feeding them bare minimum. My father lost weight and the solution was to put him on more medication. I am appalled at how we treat our most vulnerable

My mother fell and broke her hip. I have been calling from 9:00am to 11:30 am to be transferred to the floating phone they use for patient contact because they do not have phones in their rooms. I had to call back at least 7 times only to be put on hold or transfered to the nurses station where no one picked up. The last time my mother was in there everything was great. Everyone was professional and friendly and knew what the hell they were doing. The food was even good. Now this time I was informed they were under new management and no one there is professional nor are they friendly. The receptionist doesn't even know how to transfer a call. And when you call a business they are supposed to answer to let you know you are calling the right place someone kept answering with "Hello" I had to ask them if I was calling Manor Care. I am fuming over this. Is training not provided to these people who have no clue what the hell they are doing? I was disturbed at how little these people care about you. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I would give no stars if I could but I had to give one so I could write a review. FYI! IM STILL ON HOLD WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP AND GET ME TO MY MOTHER. I don't know who this new management is but Shame on you. FYI!! Still waiting on the phone to get help.

Pike Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation is a horrific place to take your loved one, especially if they are dementia patients. They have no clue. My father was over medicated and not by accident, but so the nurses and aids didn't have to deal with him. I have video. The communication between doctors, nurses and aids is horrible. If something changed like a prescription order, diet orfer, or something as simple as he is not to be placed in a chair until an observation hss taken place, but he's placed in a chair anyway...those very important aspects of his care often were not communjcated to the individuals actually handling the care.My dad could no longer eat or drink because he couldn't swallow and an aid offered him jello to which I said I doubt he could eat if she couldn't get him to drink and she gave it to him anyway which no one saw in the room, but 30 minutes later my dad started coughing violently and a big chunk of jello fell out of his mouth that he was choking on. He was high risk for falls yet no one saw him fall 2x.His last fall was the beginning of his rapid decline. Most of the people there we experienced were very cold and nonchalant about everything. It's suppoto be a care facility, but they left that part out( with the exception of an aid named Desmond). Finally, in my father's last moments this stupid nurse on shift around 2:45 pm tried to tell me that my Father was fine and calm when he was clearly in distress and needed the prescribed treatment for his duress. I had to tell her to give it to him. She didn't even know the signs of my father dying
