I have never in my life been welcomed, trained and accepted by a new kitchen the way these guys did. I was a visiting Chef and I learned more in three days with them than I could have with months of training elsewhere. Chef Jenn and Chef Dan are amazing and I aspire to be like them and cook like them! Much love?

Going through sorority recruitment was amazing, weird, and in a few chapters, actually fun. 'Tent talk'/gossip among PNMs ,potential new members it said Pi Phi is the most elite sorority at CU. Everyone wants to be a member. Pi Phi has the reputation of cutting deep, cutting hard, and cutting early, more than any other sorority. In the group that I was in, Pi Beta Phi was the top or top two choices of every girl. By day three, only two of us still had Pi Phi=Lots of tears, and some even dropped out.. Initially, I was intimidated or sophistication, as they walked down the grand circular staircase. But you were so beautiful, witty, well-traveled, and fortunately a lot of them are also tall blondes from Southern California like me. IMO, it is the most beautiful house on campus with the coolest girls.I had invitations to every sorority, but Pi Beta Phi was the first one I always looked for. Preference came, and Pi Phi was the only house I wanted. When I opened my bid the next day, I couldn't believe they had issued me an invitation to join. The best years of my life were at 890 11th St., which is half a block long. Yes we had mean girls, we had sweet girls,, we had a lot of rich girls, but overall we had girls that really enjoyed our sisterhood. It's hard to describe the fun, the closeness, and the respect we had for each other. As an officer, I learned leadership very early.. BTW, I was stunned by the beauty of the girls every morning washing our faces, no make up, and so down to earth, just laughing about something all the time. If I have a daughter, I hope she chooses Pi Phi and Pi Phi chooses her.
