Pho Ha: Where the Soup Speaks Louder Than the Service

If you’re looking for warm hospitality, friendly service, and a staff that showers you with compliments—well, keep looking. But if you want a bowl of pho so good it makes you forget that the waiter just grunted at you, Pho Ha is your place.

We ordered the #16 pho with rare steak, and let me tell you, that broth was basically a warm hug for our souls. It came with the perfect lineup of mix-ins—bean sprouts, mint leaves, jalapeños, and a fresh lime to squeeze in, plus all the hoisin, Sriracha, and chili paste you need to turn your bowl into a personal spice experiment. The rare steak was tender, the noodles were on point, and the whole thing was the kind of meal that makes you forgive all sins—including the complete lack of customer service.

We also got an order of spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were fresh and tasty, though we had to remind ourselves that dipping them in the pho would probably be frowned upon (not that anyone here would care).

Now, a heads-up: Their credit card machine was down, so thankfully, we had cash. If we hadn’t, we might’ve been washing dishes in the back—assuming they even let us.

The restaurant was busy, but the food came out fast, steaming, and consistently delicious. Bottom line? If you’re willing to trade warm smiles for warm soup, Pho Ha is totally worth it. Just bring cash, and maybe lower your expectations for human interaction.

The Pho here are very delicious. The broth is rich, and the quality of the meat used is excellent. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is clean, but there is an unpleasant smell coming from the restroom.

This is one of those Viet restaurant that has to tone down the flavor to cater to non-Viet people and overcharge. If you're white, non-Viet in general, you might like it... Other than that, food is mediocre to me

The pho was really good. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had but it’s not bad either. The broth was really good, really rich. We also got the tofu spring rolls, they were ok, minimal ingredients inside: tofu, lettuce, vermicelli noodles and I think bean sprouts. I usually like more things like mint, cucumber and carrots for texture and flavor. I honestly think I make better spring rolls and peanut sauce so if I went back, I’d skip the spring rolls.

Pretty disappointed in what they call an order of 4 Beef Balls for $4.95 which is actually 1 beef ball cut into fourths. Not to mention the extra charge for to go order.
The rest of it was just ok.

Authentic Vietnamese cuisine offering very tasty pho soups and vermicelli pasta noodles at reasonable prices.
The tables are clean and management is friendly and their service is good. The parking is plentiful located in Brea at the Imperial Highway exit off the 57 freeway.

This is my go-to pho spot in Brea! I always get the steak and brisket pho and it never disappoints! My coworkers and I come here for lunch all the time and they love the bbq pork dish. Everytime we dine in Darren is always there greeting us with a smile, great service every time! Their Vietnamese coffee is also awesome!
