The food is absolutely delicious and I always stick to my favorite dish because it’s just that good. I can’t resist those BBQ ribs, the sauce is perfect! The atmosphere is so nice and cool, and it’s really spacious, so you never feel cramped. Plus, the customer service is fantastic! If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.

There is a roll of paper towels on the table and sinks around the restaurant … that’s how you know this place is phenomenal. The 1/4 chicken is juicy. The beef ribs have just enough bite so they don’t fall right off the bone but are still super tender when they touch your tongue. BBQ sauce is amazing, mince Smokey flavor and very peppery. The onion rings are a must and honestly the best onion rings I’ve ever had; the ranch is also fantastic. Baked beans are good and so is the potato salad, but it can be colder and have more dill. Still, this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had.

Awesome place for some bbq! I think I have been to every Phil's and the bbq is great at every spot location and this one is no exception. The meat is always tender and well prepared, the sauce is sweet and abundant, the portions are large and the flavor is amazing. This is the first time we ordered a salad here. Who does that, right? It turned out really good! We ordered a small, that was huge, and added tri-tip to the top. Along with the other 3 meals, this was a great dinner for everyone.

It was my 1st time experience in this restaurant. Everything was great. the cashier was so friendly. He was so nice. He took my order patiently. I ordered 10 pieces of chicken wings and fries and soda. Foods were hot and great. The fries portion was so big. I expected the verity size of soda, but there is only one beverage size, which is ok.

The only issue I saw was that the chicken's surface was burnt and got carbon, but after peal it off, the taste was great.

It's been a good while since we've been to Phil's but we decided to come for an early father's day meal. My wife had the el Toro sandwich and I had the half rib dinner. The ribs were as good as ever and the meat was extremely tender. Their bbq sauce continues to be unmatched in terms of flavour it really is something special. Everything was prepared very well we also had the onion rings and a sausage. The prices have gone up slightly but not too bad considering everything else. I believe the full beef rib dinner used to be around 27 dollars and is now around 32 for reference.

I don't know why we had been away for so long but I'll definitely be back sooner next time!

The famous BBQ franchise in Rancho Bernardo is the Northside of the county. They have a large parking lot to hold the space for its large crowd of customers. Walk-in on Sunday late afternoon and sit in the bar. Having my meal while enjoying the game of Copa America. The staff made a special drink for me while taking my regular order. I ordered the Philibuster which came out to be a huge burger of crispy onion rings, BBQ Broham, smoked honey bacon and two pieces of the beef patties. I could only finish 2/3 of it, a really monster one. The staff is friendly and we have some free chat about the sports. The spot has some Ads to show the history and the purpose of the brand.

If you just googled bbq then coming here is a must. We usually go to the location in Point Loma. But we had come from the San Diego safari park and we were hungry.

Food is consistently good.
As a family go 3 we share the 1/2 order of ribs, fries and macaroni salad. We also get the Broham Fries (pork fries) or a sandwich.

We always take the bones back to our little dog who loooves them!!
