My father-in-law has been living at Paintbrush for the past six weeks, and I can honestly say he really enjoys his new home. The staff has been nothing short of amazing. Just recently, he came to visit us for Mother's Day and couldn't stop raving to family members about how much he loves living there. That really put my husband at ease!

The facility itself is beautiful and very well-kept, which is a big plus. We’ve enjoyed joining him for lunch or dinner—there’s a good selection of options, and the food is consistently great. It’s nice to share meals together in such a lovely setting.

What stands out to me is the sense of community. I love saying hi to the other residents—it feels welcoming. There are always a variety of activities and special events to keep everyone engaged. Traci Horn, the Memory Care Director, is such a vibrant and energetic person. You can really see how she cares, as she’s always out and about, interacting with the residents.

Overall, it’s been a positive experience, and it brings us comfort knowing he’s in such a wonderful place!

I met Reuben Maughn at this location for a tour, so this review is based on my observations during our walkthrough. First of all, Reuben was very friendly, knowledgeable and consistently kept asking if I had any questions. Customer service at this location appeared to be top notch. Every employee or resident I met were super friendly.

The amenities this location has are outstanding. They have private dining room, looks like a conference room, but was very roomy. The dining experience is similar to any sit-down type restaurant and the menu had a good variety. I liked the outdoor patio area, which had a custom pizza oven, vegetable garden, and small dog park.

I was shown a single bedroom and studio bedroom. Both of the bedrooms appeared to be roomy and had showers for people over 35; there were no steps to get into the shower. I really liked the place because it had a lot of amenities and was not a huge facility. I have visited huge facilities which can be overwhelming for me, more less my 97 year old mother.

I hope this place works out for my mother; everything about this place was positive.

For assisted living and moving into memory care this is an excellent facility to consider. The architecture, ambience and warm feeling you receive just walking in is only the beginning. The welcoming staff is a window to the care throughout the facility. The layout is well thought out, efficient and convenient. The apartments are well designed and comfortable, each with well designed bathrooms to meet all needs.
A building is just a building, but the care provided to the residents and loved ones is what makes it a home. The care and attention from staff is consistent and sincere. From inclusion in activities and services for social interaction to personal care and medical attention residents are made to feel at home and cared for.
Paintbrush provides menus for residents that varies daily and seasonally that is tasty for both residents and guests, including a variety of alternate menu options.
Staff is very good communicating with family members on issues for the care and support of loved ones.

Miss Traci is just the most lovely and caring person I’ve ever met. Her and her staff have done such a fantastic job taking care of my grandmother making her feel comfortable and loved. They truly do go above and beyond with their care and service. I have seen first hand just how great they are my grandmother gets lost easily and they did not raise their voice at her once they just lovingly showed her the way. They always make sure she follows her diet restrictions and make sure she’s eaten. She has to have leg treatments done and they are so caring when helping her get it done even though she doesn’t realize she needs them anymore. The employees in memory care really have just put my heart at ease and have ever since the decision was made to put my grandmother in a home which means the world to my family because making the decision is hard enough as it is. From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone at paintbrush but especially miss Traci and her beautiful heart and loving soul for senior memory care.

My grandmother lives on the memory care side and we absolutely adore all of the staff! The director there Traci is amazing! She’s always got them doing fun arts and crafts and singing music. There hasn’t been a time where I have walked in there to visit and I haven’t seen a smile on everyone’s face. My grandmothers room is always clean and she’s always put in fresh new cloths every morning. I couldn’t ask for a better team to help my loved one.

Through my associations with assisted living care centers, I am told repeatedly that Paintbrush in Fresno is top notch in caring for our seniors. The staff and food is very good. The staff has a truly caring genuine character. It is apparent they enjoy their occupations. The facility is maintained well and clean, very warm home feeling. Others have said they have stayed at other facilities, no comparison. Keep up the great work Paintbrush. Reuben is a great example of the character of the staff. Great job. Thank You, Kevin

Paintbrush Memory Care has been a wonderful place for my mom with dementia. Traci and her staff of amazing people care for my mom’s physical and mental needs with a gentleness and kindness that has exceeded my expectations. I am able to leave after every visit knowing she is treated with respect and love.

We visited Paintbrush Assisted Living and were initially very impressed. The facility was beautiful, the amenities were great, and the tour was well-organized. My husband and I spent a lot of time considering options, and we felt this was the perfect home for my mother-in-law.

We met with Randi Firestone during the process, and she was extremely pleasant and helpful at first. However, things took a turn when it came time for final approval. It became clear that my mother-in-law wasn’t a fit for the community, which we completely understood. What was disappointing, though, was the lack of communication afterward. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Randi to confirm this, we were left without any follow-up or closure.

Unfortunately, this lack of professionalism left a sour taste in our mouths. While the facility has so much to offer, the experience left us questioning their approach to communication and care for families.
