The most important organization on the planet considering the state of physical degeneration of our species at this point in time. They are the guardians of the work of Weston Price, DDS whose book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" changed my life.

Weston Price is known as the Father of Nutrition....for a reason. That book, from a dentist's perspective, changed my entire opinion of what health is. I will never look at the human face and jaw the same way again.

Disturbed at the high rate of dental caries his patients were having, he traveled the world and studied indigenous people. He studied their teeth, facial & body structures, their rates of disease & learned about their ancestral customs in regards to health. He took samples of their saliva and their foods, which he sent back to his laboratory for testing. He took meticulous records which are archived by the PPNF: Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation. Plant based diets had come into favor amongst some wealthy elite at the time and he was on a mission to find a plant based healthy people. His greatest disappointment in life was that he couldn't find this anywhere. He thought he found them in a tribe in Africa....but then found out they ate bugs. What he actually found, was animal foods were considered sacred and essential, in various amounts based on environment & resources. Invariably those people that ate their ancestral diets and didn't consume the "displacing foods of modern commerce" (sugar, white flour, canned goods & processed vegetable oils), maintained perfectly straight teeth with a wide palette and plenty of room for the wisdom teeth, ease in childbirth, very low rates of cavities (no need for dentists at all and many tribes did not even have a word for it in their language), and immunity to disease.

Price discovered Vitamin K2 (he called it Activator X), which we now know plays a key role in getting calcium into our bones where it belongs and out of our arteries where it can harden, sounding the alarm for cholesterol to come to the rescue, which science wrongly blamed for heart disease. The real enemy is SUGAR, in all its forms, and toxic fats, like RBD vegetable oils and hydrogenated. Today we have all the added GMOs and chemical toxins too. Where is Vit K2 concentrated? Animal foods.

We are all biochemichal individuals. There is no one perfect diet for every human. We are what we eat and what we eat eats. I want to be grass, not GMO corn and soy. 95% of humans are omnivores for a reason. 1/3 of us have even evolved to produce lactase into adulthood enabling us to digest milk. We've been drinking raw pastured milk for 14,000 years. Epigenetics at work. Imagine how those epigenetics have affected the gut microbiomes of different cultures. Many nomadic tribes rely on herding and livestock, especially in areas difficult to grow crops. Species will go extinct if we don't eat them.

This book should be required reading for all high school students.
