My mother has had to go through two bouts of cancer and the resources here have been amazing for her. I recently took her in to pick up a gift card. They sent her a letter wishing her well as she has been fighting cancer and offering her a gift card to help cheer her up for the holidays. They go above and beyond for members in our community. The service was amazing, the blonde lady helping us, was so nice, empathetic, and just genuine. I certainly appreciate the care, love, and support everyone has given to not only my mother but others who are fighting battles. Thank you all for all you do for our community!

Is very friendly place to get help and support when you're down and out and don't know whirls to go. They have a lot of information depending on what you need to know. Veteran or civilian they can help youwe're just about anything you need. Just buck it up and come in and see them.

I was homeless and needed 90.00 more dollars to move into an apartment and they only put me in a run down motel room for one night. No food card. And the salvation army wouldn't help me and im a veteran. But because my dd214 doesn't state honorable on it even though it is. It was a seperation because i got injured during active duty. He passed the buck and had me jump through a bunch of hoops and go to other places for help first and said if the other places won't be able to help then he will. Well they didn't and then he wouldnt answer his phone or return my calls. And i overheard him say that we were nothing but vultures. Thank God for the vfw. They helped me .The salvation army helped a non veteran with over 400. Just before me just because his job was slow and they went to school with one of the owners of the saw mill. Yeah, thanks for nothing salvation army, helping a non veteran who wasn't homeless, but not me.

Checked on housing for person displaced by tornado. Very helpful folks! Kris at the housing authority has worked very hard to find housing for people displaced!
