I felt discriminated because I am a single mom and I struggle a lot to pay for my daughters school and when they call me they told me that I didn’t qualify because my daughter is already enrolled in a catholic school. That the program wants people from outside from public schools. But later on I found out that they lie to me, because i know other moms from the school. And they told me that they did qualify and this are complete families that have a mom and a dad. This makes me feel really sad because I didn’t qualify 1 maybe because I am a single mom, or 2 maybe because my daughter was shy at the interview, and they didn’t like that. God Bless you guys for all you do,
But discrimination is not a good way of showing kids the best. My daughter cried for a whole entire week, because she though that they didn’t like her at all. Now every time I want to apply for something she asks if she is going to be interviewed and if it is, she tells me she doesn’t want me to apply anymore. She is 9 years old and she is going to live with that for the rest of her life.
