I have been overwhelmed with how lovely this facility is. The environment right when you walk in...you are met with love! The food smells great and everything looks so beautiful. Then you get to speak with the staff. They are all so professional and loving. Mike is one of the workers that was just so friendly and spoke to me about soccer. Mary just seemed to know everything about the facility and had a fun story behind it. Then you get to speak to the cite director Heidi. It isn't often that you see someone in her position so tangible. Heidi has so much love for her residents and you can see it in everything that she does. She even has these cute little Lamas that she hands out.

It is hard enough looking for a place to put your loved ones, but then to consider how they will be cared for while there is just a whole other stress within itself. Heidi and her staff feel like family and you can see how much they value everyone. They learn their names and interests! (as much as I wanted to tell my grandma "tuck and roll" I also wanted to move in with her. I know she is going to love her time here and make a lot of new friends.

Oakmont of Fresno "Walks the Walk". Everything they promised has come true. My parents are in great hands. The food is amazing, the activities are engaging, the staff knew my parents name immediately and always come up to say a kind word and the facilities are always clean and inviting. Oakmont is a rare gem that truly cares about the people they are serving, and I am seeing renewed life in both of my parents. I highly recommend Oakmont of Fresno.

There are 7 type A licensing citations against this facility and 6 type B citations against this facility for hazards, injuries, death, neglect and abuse all in the recent 12 months. The building is nice but the quality of care by staff is poor because the staff to resident ratio is low. There’s a high turnover rate and staff are overworked. Save your parent and choose somewhere else.

Response to the director, the CDSS have 26 complaints listed from unhappy families who’ve experienced injuries and issues with care at your facility. The 3 complaints I filed resulted in 3 citations against your facility for neglecting my mother. I’m sure you are well aware since in retaliation you restricted me from my mother’s living quarters so I cannot observe her quality of care. I would like that overturned and I would like my mother to see her dermatologist for her rash. These complaints are not unfounded.

Oakmont is an all around beautiful assisted living/memory care facility. The moment you arrive, Oakmont makes you feel like you're entering a home and not a sterile assisted living. That must be great for not only residents, but the families of residents to enjoy a space together. Their multiple common areas, outdoor spaces, activity rooms and movie theatre to engage residents are also very well thought out.

What really stood out to me are the friendly team members that work at Oakmont. In the hour tour of the building, their team puts out this positive energy that you can see in residents - they were engaged in activities, socializing during meal times (the menu selection also sounded delicious), laughing while communicating with employees and walking down halls to visit their neighbors. One resident even along the way had the extra pep in her step and called me handsome! How special!

If I was three times older, I'd say "move me in!" The apartments are gorgeous and don't limit the life a senior can have in a facility. Great job Oakmont!

I had the oppurtunity to provide my moving labor services to a resident at Oakmont the family was great and good people. I met a staff member named Alisha and she was professional and was so helpful the whole time we were there. Great place .

I recently toured the Oakmont and was impressed with the variety of memory care activities that the facility provided. Activities ranged from Montessori activities, theme parties, music activities and guests, and so much more. It is apparent that seniors wo be stimulated and engaged at this facility. I am confident that this is the place for my loved one.
