Prices are outrageous!!!! They should be ashamed for their pricing. $34.99 for a doll!! I don’t care if it’s in the box. Sorry kid, we can’t afford it - at a THRIFT store!!!!! $12.99 for an empty dog plastic bucket!!! SHAMEFUL and DISGUSTING.

My first visit was very disappointing! Because I am over weight I was given a box full of low calorie food! One package of chicken and one box of stuffing mix? One yogurt? That's supposed to last 6 days? Along with all the salads I guess you thought it was! Would you like the rotten pear back?

I've been going to this food pantry for a couple months, and it's been nothing but issues. The staff is rude, when simple questions are asked they act like you insulted there lively hood, and on top of that the small amount of food you do get will be half expired and beyond useable. I have literally gotten moldy bread, vegetables, etc. Today was my last time coming.
This place should be ashamed to say they are Christian based/ran or whatever they say.
For a family of 6(2 adults, 4 kids) you get a gallon of milk, 2 small school size chocolate milks, a few cans of random things, bagged chicken, a bag of navy beans, and hard moldy bread. When asked about the moldy items, you get told you should be thankful for anything.

Lots of stuff.
I Like how profits go to food pantry. However, the prices are DISGUSTING. Dollar tree items for 9.99!!! Pants for 19.99 that had new Walmart 14.99 tags! 9.99 for USED bedsheets. Coffee cups 8.99.

Very first time ever in this thrift store, as I heard great things. All I can say is that this is absolutely the best kept, cleanest, amazing selection of a thrift store. Great staff (volunteers?). Huge store (was a former large grocery store).

And as a bonus, from what I understand, profits from the store feed hundreds of families each week in the local area. Kudos.

If you had your eyes closed and someone walked you into this store and then you opened your eyes, you would think you were in a well kept department store.

This has to be the most expensive thrift store I’ve ever been to. Why are you asking for $10 for a little scarf? How come the furniture is priced as new furniture that I could get online? All of this is donations and you up charge every single item in there. Ridiculous.

I always find the best things from home to clothing to even things for my pup. They even have a food pantry that provides families with food every 7 days. Normally pantries are once a month! Oakland hope is truly a blessing to have in the Pontiac community

This place wouldn’t even be around to sell their overpriced garbage without the slave labor they get from the court system.
