Amazing. Answered the phone every time i had reached out. They were ready to take the little baby fawn that I had found injured in the drive of the home that I was working at. Very thankful for my aunt, as she was able to transport it there from Jackson at the drop of a hat. She and I both believe it’s in very good hands now. Thank you all so much for the promptness and thoughtfulness.

Wonderful experience - they took in a little bat I found that is unable to fly. Let me come right away to ensure "Mr. Batty" was safe and healthy. Much admiration and appreciation.

The site reads, “A healing place for creatures great and small.” Yet, I called regarding a tiny baby mouse I found and the woman on the phone responded in cold disgust. I understand how mice can be viewed, but this was just a tiny baby. It had its fur but it’s eyes were still closed. This little guy just needed a little bit of help to get by. I found him on a sun baked parking lot all alone and away from any kind of nest. Looking for help, I found their site and was encouraged. Well, apparently only CERTAIN animals are deserving of compassion and help. The dismissiveness I encountered turned my stomach. We’re all living things and sharing this space, but apparently certain life is just less important. Baby bird? Bring them in. Baby mouse? Leave it to die. Despicable and sad. This is absolutely shameful for a place that only exists to help these innocent little creatures.

We called and then brought a nestling bird here after being turned away by 6 other places. They were so kind and when someone came out to grab it, they instantly knew the breed. I know it is in good hands.

I took an injured baby bird to them and they took care of him and released him.

I thought it was blood, on him, yet, he was a baby Cardinal just getting in his primary feathers (barn cat tried to grab him, yet, he squacked his heart out and I got to him before the cat did anything)!!!💗

So grateful you could save him and release him to live a good life! 😊
