Love it! It's a new trail system so you really have to be okay with adventure even though the trails are more than adequately (blue) blazed! Absolutely love that the trail association has a free hiking challenge! That got me more involved in hiking and exploring!

This is the headquarters for the Northern Country Trail Association, located at the half-way mark of this 4,600 mile trail. It has limited hours during the week and is not normally open on weekends. Call before you go. Lots of good information on the website and they have a toll-free phone number. The building features a three piece mural depicting scenes from the trail. The trail is nearby as well in this official trail town.

It's an incredible trail system snaking its way through the midwest. It's always really well marked and most sections are maintained well too! You can tell there's a lot of love for the NCT!
