This place provides such a fun experience for the whole family! Not only do you get to see live bears but they have a building filled with taxidermy animals and other live smaller reptiles. There is even a children’s corner for kids to play in. We had a great time. All the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Our tour guide Spencer went above and beyond. Thank you bear center! We will definitely visit again soon.

Beautiful place, we decided to visit after our camping trip. Fast service to get our tickets. They have a nice store for souvenirs. The staff was very friendly and professional. I felt safe while being around the bears, the presentations were amazing and I enjoyed seeing the bears eating their treats. I have never seen black bears in the wild before and I was impressed with the interaction I had today with them. They also have a wide variety of displays that you can read and learn more about bears and other species. I enjoyed seeing Tasha, Lucky and Holly! I hope to visit this place again soon!

The Bear Center was a fun visit. We learned a lot from the staff and were pleasantly surprised by the outside tour to see the bears get some treats! Exhibit areas were nice but almost overwhelming with allllllll the signage and info. But worth a visit to support the work they do.

Very informative, super nice staff, and really cool center. A lot of really cool information that i didnt have prior to going! Loved seeing the bears! Bonus points for the trail behind the center.

The walking tour was short and sweet, with plenty of information about their resident bears, and ample time to view each as they snacked. Another opportunity to see the bears was via an observation deck. The employees would distribute snacks in various ways, such as through the floor of the deck into a tube, or transported via a pulley to the top of a tower, which the bear would have to climb to reach.

The exhibits were detailed and covered many topics; my favorite was how bears are misrepresented in the media, and how animal handlers train bears for movies.

Also included in this center was a wing for other types of local animals, with regular showings of their animal ambassadors (for example: tree frogs, salamanders, and garter snakes).

Overall, there was plenty to see and do for all ages.

A cool place to explore if you’re in the area. There are lots of exhibits to read about. They also have a very cool behind-the-scenes experience that is worth checking out. Exhibits also include some cool areas for little kids my toddler loved it there. Also, tons of video footage of their bears that you can learn a lot about their behavior from.

This was our group's first visit to the North American Bear Center. We were extremely impressed with the bears, the guides and the massive amount of information, and impressive displays of Minnesota critters. I really had no expectations and walked away very impressed. All four of us felt we could have spent an entire day there - we were there for four hours. I will highly recommend it to anyone!

I would recomend a couple hours as you can get inmmerse on all the facts they have.

We saw bears and learn about their behaviors
