The league director Brendon is extremely rude and disrespectful. Yesterday we had our first game for the Summer season and when we arrived he was at the door with security telling us we could not bring in our Water bottles. He had sent out an email stating no outside drinks would be allowed, however, it did not occur to me this included WATER. It was a hot day and Iā€™m pregnant (I have to drink certain amount of water daily as per my doctor). When I told him I needed to drink water he said he was selling water inside. Why do I need to buy water inside when I have a water bottle with me? He began to yell, telling me to read my emails next time and to go to another league if I didnā€™t like the rules. The people that saw it happen came up to me and told me to report him because he should not be talking to anyone that way especially a pregnant woman. I was really upset during my sonā€™s game. My father wanted to speak with Robert (one of the owners), he asked Brendon where Robert was and his response was ā€œThatā€™s my father what do you need?ā€. My dad told him he wanted to talk to him regarding Brendon yelling at a pregnant woman. Brendon proceeds to call his bodyguard who stood in front of my dad trying to be intimidating. When he asked what the problem was I began to tell him what happened while Brendon was in the back saying stupid remarks and denying the fact that he had yelled at me. Even though we were not speaking to Brendon anymore, he found his way to follow us out continuing his rudeness by saying ā€œhave a good night and if you donā€™t like the rules leaveā€. If you want to deal with a unprofessional and rude league director this is the place for you.

We have loved our experience in Robert Fosterā€™s league. I believe my son started playing in 2019, we also attended the camps during the pandemic, and continue to play. And in all
Honesty, having our son and my husband participate in the league, is what has contributed to our health as a family- mental, physical, and emotional, when our world closed down. We are forever grateful for the joy that emanates from the field when the kids play, for the involvement of parents, and the parents to see them and perhaps forget about our problems some. My son is very well aware that nothing comes without hard work and practice, that talent isnā€™t just natural. And itā€™s helped build resilience, as we see what comes out of that. The organization is very professionally run. We are involved in other private leagues for other sports, and we know how it can really be a mess. And this organization is hands down, well run, efficient, and professional. People may be upset w refunds that they wanted and write bad reviews, but one should listen to the overall voice that is the strongest, not the loudest or most irritated. I highly recommend this league and we are grateful that our son can play in this safe environment. And itā€™s amazing to see the kids play on the Harbor High grounds!

If I could give zero stars I would.
Went to my nephews playoff games yesterday, my first time ever going to watch him play, and the director (who was also refereeing) called the game. Made my nephews team forfeit while they were about to score. He ruined the game for all of kids (both teams) for being hot headed, after arguing plays and calls with our coach. In my opinion a director should have more class, respect, and patience while working with children and their parents. He of all people should know you don't always have to be right or have the last say. If you're wrong, admit it, and he was definitely in the wrong. Do your research before joining this league.

I've been involved in the league for 3 or 4 years now and it's been a wonderfully positive experience for our family. It's one of the few sports that operates almost year round in the area and is a great way to learn the game. This league was a life-saver for us during the pandemic, as it was one of the few leagues that was operating (and doing it safely too). The league director Robert Foster adds so much to our community. I highly recommend the league.

Nor Cal Flag Football has been absolutely amazing, I have 6 kids with 3 old enough to play and they love it. It gives them a great exercise, theyā€™re developing skills I couldnā€™t imagine they would pick up on so quick, and most importantly they have made so many friends. Everyone is very friendly and all the coaches emphasize FUN and getting all children involved. I couldnā€™t recommend this league enough, it is a great community to be apart of.

Professional group, great organization for kids of all ages and skills. Compared other programs when choosing where to put my children and once I talked with Robert Foster, I knew I was in the right place. Brendonā€™s leadership with his coaching team has helped my children develop coordination, technique and how to be a team member! To them, each child is special. Thank you for your dedication and integrity.

Coach Robert and Brendon are hard working people. They do this business more about caring for the kids than about making money. They give the children and families a great time playing football and watching football. Our boys have played with the league for years. They have a lot of fun and learning experience with football, and about life. Work hard and work harder to achieve your goals. Sometimes losing is also a motivation to work harder for next season. The kids look forward to practices with their teammates, playing the games and being competitive in playoffs games. It is very exciting for all families.
