Diane and the team at the Newaygo County Compassion Home took great care of my grandmother near her end. They were very accommodating to the family. The facilities are immaculate. After visiting in assisted living and nursing homes over the past year, the warmth of the NCCH was very welcomed. I cannot express my appreciation for their services enough!

Where to begin? We lost our mom, Shelley, to a long battle with pancreatic cancer on 21 May. I’d been able to support mom from January to May on a telework agreement, but policies changed and we needed help. Spectrum Hospice stepped up and recommended Newaygo Co. Compassion Home. I’d drive past it previously, but never thought I’d need their services.

The Compassion Home allowed us to transition from caretaker to being a family with our mom. Diane and the team of truly amazing and strong women, provided mom the dignity and grace she had wanted.

Diane, Chris, Melody, Melanie, Barb 1, Barb 2, Dawn - each of you gave without expectation and did so at a critical time.

I’ve never experienced a more invested organization of people and I’ve worked in healthcare for the better part of 26 years.

Truly gifted angels that I now consider family and to which I pledge my support.

Thank you, Diane and to your team of remarkable care providers. I don’t know what we would have done without the Newaygo County Compassion Home.

Not impressed in the least. Called to gain information on our dying daughter and Diane was not only uncompassionate, she was patronizing as well. She showed very little sympathy for the situation, but did mention the words "I'm sorry." Doesn't mean much when your tone doesn't match. She made it sound like we should not have called and should leave everything to the hospital. We received the exact opposite of compassion and will not be using their "services."

Everyone was very friendly and caring during the time my nephew spent there (a little over 1 year ago).
The home atmosphere made it more comfortable for myself and I believe my nephew felt more comfort here, than in a hospital or nursing home.

Very nice... Only a 4 bed facility so very much a one on one relationships with everyone... Beautiful place and and a beautiful staff...
