New Hope Community Church has been an amazing place for our family. We have two little ones (3 year old and a 10 month old), and the church is built around a family community. We always feel very welcome, and our kids love their experience here. We feel very connected to our community because of the church.

Pastor Russ regularly delivers relevant and dynamic messages. The music is outstanding. But the church is not just about services on Sunday, it delivers quality experiences for everyone throughout the week. I would highly recommend checking out all New Hope has to offer your family!

New Hope is an amazing church we are glad to call our home. It is relaxed and welcoming. Pastor Russ always brings an amazing message. Our children also enjoy the Sunday morning classes as well as weeknight Kids Small Groups. They are safe and loved here, and have amazing teachers to learn from. New Hope also offers lots of opportunities to get involved in adult small groups, various classes, volunteering, etc. Our entire family is able to grow here. We love the Bible-based teaching and the relationships we have built.

My family and I are blessed we found New Hope Community Church! The team members are very welcoming starting from the traffic members, classroom teachers and greeters at the door. Pastor Russ is a great pastor, he greets us as we walk in with our first names(to me that’s a big gesture that I appreciate) he’s even involved with all sport events given at the church, this man does it all with the help from a powerful team. And let me not forget Ms.Betsy who personally baked and delivered very tasteful chocolate chip cookies! I would recommend New Hope Community Church to all friends and family looking for a church home.

New Hope Community Church is far and away the best church my family and I have ever attended. Being a military family, it is sometimes difficult to find and feel welcomed into a new community but the church family at New Hope made us feel welcomed from day one. Our two children (6 and 3) have had an amazing experience in the Sunday school programs as well as the small groups. My wife and I have made lifelong friends and grown closer to Christ which is a testament to New Hope's family friendly atmosphere, commitment to bringing people together in faith, and developing Christ followers for our community.

New Hope is home. Pastor Russ married us and dedicated both my children. We moved 35 minutes away and my 4 year old begs to go to his "old" church because he loves their Jesus.

I never thought that I would "rate a church" but here I am, and completely heartbroken. After Wednesday church let out nearly two weeks ago, we went to pick up our preschooler from the "preschool class." Because the entrance was so busy, my husband and I snuck around the back of the room and entered that way. When we did, we found the main preschool worker tightly holding our little boy's arm. He was trying to get out of her grip because he saw us-- and she only held him tighter. I was bothered by that, especially because she didn't realize other parents were in the room (especially his!). When she noticed us, she was extremely cold. She told us that our almost 4-year-old was NOT welcome in the *preschool* class. Reason? He was a disruption-- he couldn't write his name (yes, those were her words!) and that the WEDNESDAY childcare class was a classroom setting and that they had their routine since September. This is a church. Not a high school. We're a military family new to the area. Excuse us for being new. What makes me sad is that Jesus welcomes all children. When we wrote the director and asked to meet with the pastor, we were given excuse after excuse. Finally, we emailed him ourselves (and he immediately wrote back). Unfortunately during the meeting, it was centered around the childcare workers feelings. See, after we were done being berated by this woman and AFTER she manhandled my small child, my husband told her to never touch his son like that again. That's all. No more. No less. They did not care that she was harsh and rough on a little boy and didn't care how she spoke to us. It was all about her hurt feelings from my husband telling her not to touch him like that. Really. It's frustrating. We weren't heard and she will continue watching the children. They told us to be "Christ like and forgive." Forgiveness is fine-- but we do not trust her with our children. And we do not trust this church to take this seriously. Look at their Tiny Tots page where it says that they were under investigation once. Red flag. Big red flag. We have been attending for around 3 months and have come to love our small group family.... but now what? We are fine with discipline. But she was rough with someone else's child. She didn't notify us. She could have found us in our class (we were told by another caretaker that we didn't need to sign him in). She didn't bring him into the nursery. She simply let it fester. Seriously, she was upset that he couldn't write his name? This is supposed to be CHURCH.
