Really nice and relaxing beach. I stopped on my way to Chicago and was glad!!

Great scenery and soft sands. Noticed few people just having picnic which is great if I had the time.

Breathtaking, pristine, tranquil, rare ice beauty! We spoke to a local that lived here all his life and he told us he's never seen it look this way. He said when it'll melt, the water will shoot up like a geyser! Everything was frozen over and iced. Some were walking into the lake over these ice/sand hills. Cool, crisp, clean air! Very sunny and blue. Stunning view over the observation deck. We've never seen Anything like it.

It is located in a very adorable beach/lake town. The sand is so clean and soft. There's a playground for the littles and plenty of gorgeous beach to enjoy. Mini dunes along the beach with nice viewpoints to look out on with a long boardwalk as well. The lighthouse is adorable, and it's located right near a yacht club, so it's fun to ogle at the neat big boat as they leave the marina.

Lovely place with wonderful sunsets. Small little harbor next to the beach. Short walk from shops and eats. Lots of families with small children milling around. Playground very close to the parking lot. Nice wooden walkway down to the beach helps some. Paid parking up to a certain point. We were there at sunset three nights, and no one was checking parking. There is a refreshment stand, but it was closed by the time we were there. No dogs on the beach and no alcohol allowed.

After dinner we headed over to the beach. It was on the later side but not dark yet. You pay for parking but after a certain time parking is free.

It's a walk from the lot to the beach, not too far though. There is a wooden walkway that leads to the sandy beach and large rocks from a barrier to separate the lake from the waterway leading back towards the homes that line the beach and have access to docks for their boats.

A good place to relax and enjoy the waves or cool off in Lake Michigan.

I believe the building here serves refreshments and snacks but I honestly didn't pay too much attention since we had just eaten before visiting.

It’s a really nice beach to go to. It has a parking lot to park in. It has a park for the kids and the beach is really big it has clean sand too. Near the parking lot there is a kind wooden staircase to the top and you can get a really good view from up there. You can also bring boats there. I had a very fun time. We had lunch there we made a little picnic and we drank tea in front of the ocean. It was a very nice view I loved it .
