Property mgmt is a business, and as such tenants are customers. Regardless of one's communication style, an employee of such a business is held to professional standards and should know how to communicate with such customers. The only acceptable communication style at work is PROFESSIONALISM. Laughing at a customer--especially about something of a sensitive nature, or at a disabled customer--is never appropriate, excusable or tolerable.

They were okay in the beginning and for awhile. As of late they're behaving in a most corrupt manner and their staff avoid taking responsibility for their mistakes, especially the HUD Portfolio Manager, Affordable Housing Director and Executive Director....

Having read some of these other negative reviews it seems these folks are just like this--foul. The folks that posted positive reviews haven't experienced and dealt with their corruption and unprofessionalism yet.

Wonderful people and helpful place . It's hard to walk in a place and ask for help, they make you feel like someone cares! They do whatever they can! I'm thankful they were there!

My experience with NeighborWorks has been a blessing. Thank you Brenda Harris for taking the time to get to know me and my needs during the transitional period of my life. I truly appreciate the guidance and honesty. This program has relieved me of the doubt and replaced it with confidence in my ability to strive and make it through the tough times. I never felt alone when disputes in rent increases or neighbor disputes occurred at my apartment building. Again, thank you NeighborWorks for helping me to reach my goals and rebuild my life for the last 2 years!

Neighborhood Works Alaska has been so good to our family. When it was necessary for our Granddaughter to move out of her apt., they were a tremendous help. I reached out to Laura Cox & asked for help on legal documents that were needed to care for our Great Grandson, not once but twice. She was friendly, professional & effective. It is an amazing program with amazing staff!

The stuff has helped me in a crisis. And set me up in a program.I could utilize for the rest of my Life. The staff got me a brand new bed from the mattress ranch with a bed frame and a waterproof Mattress cover. The staff spend over 800$ on my bedding. The safe spent over $400 at the North Face to get me a winter coat that will last me my entire life with a warranty; With matching winter gear. The staff are also staying with me until I am completed and settled In a healthy environment. I been working with neiborworks for near 2 years.
They are not perfect but they mean well.

Panoramic View Poorly managed.

I had to move because of all the ongoing problems. Loud music, drugs, dog feces everywhere, mountains of dog waste bags that never get picked up. The property manager, even when presented with proof refused to do anything. They start to ignore you if you ask them for help enforcing the rules.

I'm glad to be out of there. I found a much nicer place for almost the same cost. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
