Welcome to Neighborhood Youth Achievers!! It’s all of what YOU make it.

Out of all the places I’ve reviewed, this place gets 10 stars. Located in the heart of Watts, California where there isn’t much to offer, NYA swoops in and is turning this negative stereotypical location into a educational foundation where youth are not forced to be bound by the gangs and violence that erupts here, but instead NYA has created a safe space destination using their platform to reach Youth not just in Watts, but all over Los Angeles County. The staff are experienced and highly supportive and have been pioneers in the fight to make the lives of youth in this county count-Offering a vast variety of resources and funding to those youth 13-24 years of age, that may struggle to get basic needs met, that may need help with employment, job training and placement, educational scholarships and way more. They’ve partnered with other organizations in LA County to make sure every youth is supported and appreciated and most importantly encouraged to be the best version of themselves. These people are it! Come on in and check them out. Your life may never be the same especially if you take a step of faith and see what is available and waiting for you inside the doors of the Neighborhood Youth Achievers.
