This local organization offers a wealth of strategic and crisis programs to help people in any stage of managing and improving their mental health concerns.
A favorite offering of mine is the weekly, monthly, and bi-weekly support groups they offer. Being able to meet with people with a diagnosis or living with a family member with a diagnosis can be a fantastic way to restore some "normality" to life, discuss best practices and trouble shooting, and also hearing from those in successful recovery to understand paths to restoring physical and mental health.
If you or someone you know is struggling with anything that appears to be a mental health issue, NAMI is a fantastic resource to gain access to education, support, and introduction to care options.
