Before I relocated to the Florida senior living scene, Carol Kreuser-Bade and Sunflower Communities have assisted me in my professional role at All Saints Senior Living...She was always responsive to help me with placing folks. She always got back in touch with me to provide updates and what I appreciated most is her genuine desire to HELP. She has a heart of gold - this organization is very LUCKY to have Carol!!

I've been thoroughly impressed by the community and staff of Nagel Assisted Living in Waconia, MN. It's clear to me that their main focus is on the health and well-being of their residents. Their menu, daily activities, health care services, and memory care offerings provide a great choice for families, case managers, and others looking for another option in Assisted Living or Memory Care in the Twin Cities western suburbs. Carol Kreuser-Bade has assisted Woodstone Senior Living in New Ulm several times in the past year with our difficult referrals. She makes sure the transition goes as smooth as possible for the resident, family and the current facility. She is a genuine person who truly wants to find a place for each and every person. I showed up on my first day of training and no one seemed to know why I was there or what to do with me. I explained that it was my first day and they told me to sit behind the desk for the time being. I showed up at 6am (I am an evening worker) and was told to wait until 9am for my “trainer” to show up. Which annoyed me since that was a 3 hour difference in when I could have showed up. I ended up being told to complete some computer training and I finished it within maybe 30-45 minutes. They then told me to go on break. Afterwards, I came back and literally sat there listening to nothing but OSHA laws being violated. There was staff who loudly said patients names, conditions, medications and room numbers. One “med passer” admitted that she couldn’t remember if she gave a patient her medication or not. The patient said she did not receive her medication, so she then gave it to her. A lot of these patients are known to hoard their meds (from what I was told) This med passer also had no prior experience and was being paid more than me, as I am a CNA. Not one person there seemed experienced. They were all very nice people, but I was very disappointed.

We were in an urgent situation having to find an assisted living facility due to a sudden health change with my aunt. Fortunately for us we found Nagel and Carol B. Carol stepped up and flawlessly met all of our needs. My aunt & uncle have been at Nagel for about 6 months now, Carol B., Janelle K. and staff have done a great job handeling the all of the care and assorted challeges that we have encountered.
