This is a must stop if you are in the area. Super friendly staff and neat historical displays. It is on the smaller side but packed with information. Outside and around the museum, there are historic items you can view and learn about as well. I support places that provide knowledge such as museums and libraries; its wonderful that we these places exist to the general public!

Well done little museum, great for kids. The building houses some interesting artifacts and info about the history of the area, but don't overlook the outside displays of the steam engine, train car, flute display- walk up past behind the building on little trails to see everything. There is also a demo hydropower plant that runs on special days. Worth checking out!

This place is awesome. We saw the boy scouts retire and American flag, that was very educational, I feel like everyone should know that process. We saw them turn on the hydro power plant and learned a lot about the history of the power plant. Great nature trails and interactive things to do. You blow the steam engine go inside the caboose and more. Also inside if you can find Bigfoot you win a prize!!! Great for kids and adults. Have fun!!

Very friendly and helpful docents to answer any questions you have about anything in the museum. Also there are many events as well as demonstrations and yours that you can choose from. All ages of family members will find something to interest them. I just attended the "In a landscape" Hunter Noack classical piano event and it was beyond my expectations!
