Nice field and visitor seating. Parking lot is small/not enough parking. The scoreboard was not I use, so I'm not sure if it's working. The home team lost, but it was a fun experience. Safe location for baseball and a lot of enthusiasm from the Compton team.

The coaches help the kids learn the fundamentals. They also have a book club after games or practices on Saturday. It's not all play, there's some educational aspects as well. Plus, the kids get to see some of the colleges play so that they get a feeling of what it looks like playing at a higher level.

This agency is amazing! First of all it is free for any income level, kids get instruction by former MLB, Collegiate, or players that have just about made it to MLB, or retired. This means they worked their buns off pretty much most of their lives, have GREAT KNOWLEDGE, and love baseball!
I have taken my sons and nephews when we can. We have been attending since about 2013. I have talked to parents, seen and hear what parents say about the program. Positive remarks are usually from parents like me, that do not always take their child because of their attendance at local leagues, All Stars, Tournaments, travel ball, that far exceed the regular season, but try and get in some time at the Academy! We are learning from the best! And on the other hand, are parents that know their child is very skilled and think this program is below them and their child. There is no competition to be had here, everyone is learning! I know my children are good, humble and still learning! My children have advanced from the little things that have made a great difference in their game! My kids always have fun! I see kids that can not afford to play in leagues, devote their time at the academy, and take advantage of all the benefits the agency has to offer! Usually great baseball parents are open to LEARNING from the best for free! But more one on one time with my children, nephews, and kids I have referred.

My son loves this place where fundamentals are established. At first I was mad because my son (6yrs old) was pulled from his second ever Saturday practice, I held my tongue to hear the coaches out on their reason why he was being removed. When they explained that they wanted him to step up with the 12 through 7 year old boys, I was like ok if you think he can hang. It was so funny to see my boy not only hang but excel with the drills and situational practices. This is an AWESOME place to learn. We just moved to Utah and I wish and hope they would open up a site here in the Salt Lake region. Regardless, whenever we're back in the L.A. area, you best believe my son will show up to get some P.T. there. Especially now that he's jocked by the top programs here in the Salt Lake area. Thank you Urban Youth Academy!
