My husband and I have had the pleasure of fostering and adopting through Misfits! As a foster and adopter they were so knowledgeable and fast responses for any of my concerns or questions. They always went above and beyond to make sure myself and the dogs felt good. All owners are wonderful people and you can tell the amount of hard work that’s put into this organization. They care so much about the dogs but also the people who they cross paths with. I couldn’t recommend a better place to volunteer/adopt from!! 💕❤️

I have been a foster with Misfit Mutts for around 4 years and have adopted 4 of my own pups from this organization. The team running the rescue is absolutely wonderful to work with. I feel blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of people, always putting the Misfits first and allowing better lives for each dog they work with. The team is organized, punctual, fair, kind and always willing to be there with anything needed from fosters or adopters alike. They provide so many resources to make each adoption a success. Our family has been fostering with Misfit Mutts since 2019 and it has been such a great and rewarding experience! They have excellent communication, provide everything needed for your foster dog, and are always available with any questions or concerns. They work really hard reviewing applications and working with fosters to try to ensure each dog goes to a family that will be the best for for them. Misfit Mutts is an excellent Dog Rescue Organization! It is run by a dedicated & professional team of leaders and volunteers, whose focus is on the best interest of each dog they rescue! I donate to Misfit Mutts every year because of the great work they do to bring the right combination of dog and human together. Misfit Mutts is the most wonderful organization in the area when it comes to dog rescues. We have two misfits from them and we could not thank them enough for bringing them home and loving them until we adopted them. Their fosters, volunteers and founders are absolutely amazing and professional people. They really do have the best interests of the dogs at heart, making sure to place them with families that are going to love them and care for them for the rest of their lives. We continue to volunteer with them because we believe in their mission and want to continue to help them provide the best lives for these pups.

Misfit Mutts is truly one of a kind dog rescue. We have not only adopted from them , we have fostered & helped with transport. They have every detail of dog rescuing down, from transporting the rescues from their super foster homes down south, bathing them upon arrival , having every rescue properly vetted and placing them into foster homes. The dogs spend time decompressing in their foster homes while their applications are matched with what works best for the adopting families and the rescue dog.

The founders, fosters, and volunteers go above and beyond in this organization. We adopted our pup from them over 4 years ago and the founders and former foster family keep in contact -- which I LOVE. My husband and I truly have so much love for each and every person that has a hand in Misfit Mutts not only because of what they do, but because they are all genuinely amazing, kind, and caring individuals. They put so much work into rescuing and finding the perfect fit and home for each dog. Not every home is right for every dog. Thank you everyone at Misfit Mutts for the hard work, love, and care. And for always welcoming us with open arms when we see you and for keeping in contact with families that have adopted. It truly means so much.
