I provided all personal documents required for property tax assistance. Then MMCA went silent. No return phone calls, no voice messages to schedule an appointment or even an email from MMCA. It's like putting a note in a bottle, throwing it into the ocean and praying that someone finds the note that can help you.

These people are fraudulent and scammers. These people have you give them all this information and signing paperwork promising to pay a bill and won't do it until years later. I'm still waiting on a payment from them. I will be reporting this Agency!

Applied for assistance with the water bill where I was living after my SER was denied. An appointment was made for me to speak to someone who never contacted me. I tried several times to contact someone at the muskegon office until the day before my shutoff notice when I went in, in person, to be told that they couldn't find my paperwork. I was asked to resubmit everything the next morning and assured it would be taken care of and a hold would be placed on my shut off notice. An appointment was again set up for me to speak to someone regarding my case two weeks later. I was contacted this time to be told that my SER was expired and because the bill was in a family members name there was nothing they could do to help me he would have to go through the process even though that was not what I was told by the person running the office in muskegon. The lady on the phone told me that the person I spoke with at the office was no longer employed there and gave me incorrect information and said I should call the city. She couldn't even tell me if a hold had even actually been put on the account, so I knew how long I had to figure this all out. I really think they could work on their communication skills and apparently the training of their staff.

After Joe left nobody can get help they have a whole new systems and if you were already being helped by him they did and you were halfway through it they just call you and tell you what things changed he left there's new things and you got to do it anyway so no don't go to this place for help
