I've been fighting with this office since Sept 2nd for cash assistance.they denied me based on wrong qualifications. I even had a hearing where the judge sided with me and they even failed to comply with the judges orders.

Isn't their job to provide assistance? They sure don't do it

I've tried since over a month ago to get accurate information about my mother's Medicaid requirements. It's very hard to get responses from the office. When the office did call back, the information they gave me was misleading and conflicting. I feel that they don't care about what happens to people by errors they make.

I used to have very competent workers at this place I don't really like to blame the workers in general. Because most of my time I never had problems like I have been I am disabled been like this for some time. My husband died 3 years ago. Turn everything in several times. So I keep getting denied on extending more food

I got a notice for my 17 year old son that I needed to re apply for his health insurance. I filled out pages in addition to a 10 page booklet. I received 4 days before they sent expiration correspondence for a minor! I called the number, spoke to a "representative" that said I needed to fill out a different form than what the state sent! Why didnt they send the "form" they wanted instead of a 10 page booklet? Exactly 1 day before my sons coverage was set to end I received another mailing that he is eligible! I had called the day before and got different answers every time! Michigan has a big fail with special needs and insurance!

I am disabled, critically ill. Heart stopped on 4/15/24. ever since the state and this office have been monthly telling me my insurance will be ending at the end of the month when I have no income and they say that’s too much money. How is $0 income too much money for Medicaid? I am disabled and have been since you started taking my insurance away. My medications alone are $3000 a month. How can I afford that with $0 incoming?

They have pulled various people off my household of 5 several times in the last 4 months. It’s always “ redetermination” when nothing has changed and it’s always one kid or another, they refuse transfer you to a supervisor and they are sending absolutely zero notifications about any changes they are making to your case now or why. My kids take daily medications that they depend on and I don’t find out they don’t have insurance until I’m at a doctors and filling their meds. Would leave zero starts if I could. I’m unbelievably upset they have been messing with my case for literally no reason but claim they are behind on caseload. Maybe stop spending time playing with peoples cases who have had literally no changes and focus on your new stuff coming in. Mind you my case is 13 years old with no changes in the last 8 years.
