Wonderful place to come if you are a single person or with a family in need of food, rental, it utility assistance. Can receive food assistance up to 4 times per year and emergency financial assistance per 12 months. Safe and non judgemental atmosphere. For financial assistance must reside in Dickinson School district. For food assistance must be in Galveston county.

Waiting on response but I'm not happy. I was informed by Mrs Sue that our lights and water bills would be taken care of. We were behind almost 2 months due to me getting sick. We were assured the checks went out and that it would be fine.

I just got the bill in today. As of tomorrow's date it will be 3 months behind. And over $100.00 in late fees.

They are really nice people there.
They seem to be extremely joyful.
Baby helped me with food and utility bills. Don't know what I would have done if I hadn't have found. M.I. Lewis. God bless each and every member of their staff.

The staff powered by volunteers are so welcoming and friendly. I fell on some bad times and needed a lending hand. They assisted me with my water bill and diapers. I had to provide copies of my DL, household SS cards, my lease, proof of my income, my disconnect notice and proof of my hardship. They also have a good bank. You can only ask for financial assistance once every 12 months, they are not a lifeline.
