I have had a relationship with MAOF since 1991/92. I used to sell them computers and service their computers. I invited the whole organization to a computer expo back in the 1990s. It made me feel good to help them at the time. Through the years being MA I kinda kept them in mind. I started using them to help with my taxes. Very grateful. For several years including Covid years, they seemed to be very organized. No one is perfect, but I always felt welcomed. This year was different. MAOF has been hijacked by DEI culture. I felt like an outsider in an old friend's house. It is not the same. I appreciate what they have done over the years, but as an LA native I personally did not feel the "inclusivity". The people that work there are very nice, I don't blame them per se, it's their culture, not mine, and not MA.

I applied on a Monday and with in a week I had heard back from Cynthia Torres. It's my first time putting any of my kids in daycare but the suggestions and options they give make me feel confident and not so anxious I was before.

When calling here, the receptionist gives you an automatic "what do you want?" "We don't want to help you" type of vibe, but it gets worse...The majority of the calls are transferred to a rep named Cynthia who is very rude and gives you short answers. If you're applying for any of the programs make it a priority to follow up with them, because they will not give you confirmation or verification of receipt of your documents. Very misleading business. I request all calls be recorded for quality and training purposes...

Very poor service and they get offended for asking for help. I would not recommend doing your taxes here. Definitely do not do the drop off.

I submitted an application for my son to attend preschool here. It takes at least an hour then they said it was the wrong one. After that when they finally gave me the right one and I returned it, they lost it. With all of my son's information and copies of his documents.
