I am being discriminated against by a store manager or employee. What a terrible way to do business. I entered the store and i was told to exit the store. I hadn't done anything wrong and hadn't been ih that store in a long time. I am considering suing Goodwill NCW for violation of federal law, and for defamation of character.

I am a loyal GW patron and donate frequently to all of the stores in the area. The much older, overly aggressive and extremely tall manager with wide broad shoulders, and with long reddish dark hair, female? Who douses herself in bad, cheap perfume and a constant sour expression, is a racist bully. Do not shop at this store. It's overpriced to start with, the store is FILTHY, and then you have to deal with that. Go elsewhere. I reached out to the regional manager Edey twice after enduring several HORRIFIC experiences involving this woman and never received a follow up email or phone call. The standard under which this Goodwill location operates is absolutely abysmal - and yet they have the audacity to ask you for more money not once, but twice upon checkout. They must be joking, right? The only saving grace here is the team of dedicated, amazing, and kind employees that I'll miss seeing.

Dressing room attendant was annoying after I told her I had 6 items I felt like she was trying to see if I had more. She then came a knocking at my door saying she forgot to tell me I couldn't take the cart in.so? Let me try on clothes don't come knocking at the door. Then when I was leaving she goes oh what are you taking? Its really none of Goodwill's business. If I don't take stuff then I'll give it back to the attendant. She then goes well I see none of your stuff is on hangers? WTH? Seriously? Stop harassing customers. I probably won't be back anymore she's probably a nice person and just doing her job but that was way to much

JANICE (extremely tall old woman manager) follows customers around and acts like she’s above working here. Other employees (Farzana) are rude and shouldn’t work retail if they’re so bothered. The filthiest and most unorganized goodwill in the fox valley. The store was ran better before under different management. Avoid this overpriced, dirty, unpleasant and trashy store and go to the other locations. Corporate- if you get rid of some of the unsavory employees this location wouldn’t be so bad.

I thought this one was one of the bigger ones and it was not so I don't feel as if there is as much of a selection. The clearance isle in domestics is always pretty empty compared to the other stores. I also came back after a few days and it was a lot of the same items. I would like to see more. Also I don't understand why the fitting rooms are every other one? In the end as I said before I was just there and yet had to take my bags out of the car. I saw the same brand and size sweater for a little cheaper way cuter but did not have a receipt in me. They seen me bring it in and would not exchange it for me so that really sucks. Come on goodwill. It's free to you it's a receipt with a color and the tags were on. Little disappointed

We shopped on Tuesday, Feb 7, 2023. We were going to purchase 2 pairs of men's jeans. These were under a sign that stated 50% off. We were at the register when I asked the associate, 50% off right. She said no, but asked manager who also said no. I said there was a sign there and pointed it out to them. I said then you need to take that sign down. Needless to say we did not buy them.Very disappointed.

My boyfriend who shops there and spends A LOT OF MONEY there told me about his experience the other day and since he won't post a review so I will. He told me that he found an item that was perfect for my mom's birthday that was in perfect condition. The geniuses there slapped packing tape all over it so before he bought it he wanted to take the tape off in the store to see if it caused any damage. He asked for permission to do this and the process took him a slow, painstaking 15 minutes! The manager who gave him permission saw all of this. When he went to the register to pay he realized he forgot his wallet in the car outside. When.he came back he was told by the manager that the item was sold. Are you kidding me?
