The Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula provided some of the most disgusting and vile food I have ever experienced. Half sandwiches made with old wilted lettuce or old ingredients. Hot entrees that couldn't be eaten because they were so spicy and over seasoned that it would cause anyone to gag. When I spoke to the management of the Meals on Wheels I was informed that the majority of the food being used comes from various food pantries. I was stunned to hear this information because my family had always generously donated money to this facility. The only positive thing were the volunteers who delivered the food. After trying Meals on Wheels for about a month I decided to cancel the service. Every meal which was delivered was so disgusting that I had no choice but to toss it into the rubbish bin. Anyone who claims the food prepared by the Meals on Wheels to be delicious must not have taste buds because nothing I recieved was edible. My last words describing Meals on Wheels is yuck!!!

Mow provides a wonderful variety of delicious nutritious meals, brought by kind drivers. Staff are caring and friendly. Mow also has arranged for crucial home repairs. Being disabled and homebound was so isolating before I was told about mow. I'm forever grateful to everyone who works and volunteers for this A+ organization ❤️
