Ladies’s place freaking sucks they are not gonna help you and they’re just trying to keep you for 30 days the longest and kick you out. They don’t prepare you for society. They don’t prepare you to live without the trauma they have you going to classes they want you to put you back into the community in a ghetto place. They’re limited and it has to be severe. You have to be dying for them to help you and then not all the social workers work as the same they are not all helpful. They don’t sit and think that you guys are going to trauma and you need help and then the process to get a paperwork. It’s a 10 days and sometimes we need paperwork at the same day due to whatever situation is going on in your life so I’m very upset at this place. They’ll give you a list of referral places to call but none of them have funds so you’re back to zero you better praying going to church But never staying with the domestic violence. I recommend calling the hotline to give you more support and all this too and there’s cockroaches there and also I have to do chores. There’s a lot of things that you’re not gonna like it. The ladies they are angry because they frustrated any help and they’re not getting the help so my suggestion to staffs is if you don’t got the help, don’t advertise it cause you’re lying to the community and if you don’t cut the Help then go and search itfor the company have more funds don’t advertise something that’s not true so a person has to go three or four times and then after you give him the 30 days you throw them in the street or extension you’re putting that woman back in the same situation

I've never In my life felt like a place that talks the talk about how much they're willing to help someone coming off domestic violence abuse and having a depressed state of mind and no where else to turn to act like if they simply do not matter ,After being at the center this time and doing everything that my counselor Karla asked me to do including turning in 3 months of pay stubs proving my employment and letting her know this was a situation that if I didn't receive some type of permanent housing that upon my exit date I would be homeless and living on the streets , and after trying my best to do everything I could on my behalf to make something happen I was exited on 12/20)2024 and I returned to get my belongings on the 23rd but my ride was unable to make it therefore I had no choice but to leave my clothing and cosmetics even my doctor prescribed medication for anti pyscotic episodes and was only physically able to take a small portion of my belongings do to being homeless still running from a hostile situation and when I returned on 12/26/2024 I was told that all of my belongings were donated or discarded per policy at Marjorie Mason Center.So now I'm not just homeless but also have lost everything I had left in the world literally .This is supposed to be a place to help us survive a situation and bring us back to a place where we can live again in my experience they not only lied to me by not helping me find housing but dumping me off like a piece of trash then throwing away everything I owned including medication to keep me stable .Now I'm out here having no clothed no shelter no money and worse off than I was before I got there they really did to me something that makes me want to completely give up on everything so thanks Marjorie Mason Center for showing your love to me and helping me with everything but help now I'm not sure what comes next but after throwing me away like that I guess that proves my worth to society;!

Still at the same spot on Calaveras and M St. My friend is staying there right now and they are helping her with a furnished, 1 bedroom apt, rent and utilities free for 1 year. Finally, the system is helping someone get back on their feet after going through so much trauma. Thank you Marjaree Mason Center!!!

Was in a situation twice and called to get help and they would not help me. Both times they told me they were full. My kids and I have been sleeping at a park for a week now. Wish they were as helpful as the rumors I've heard

I gave one star cuz i feel you guys are not giving a really safe environment for people who are really asking for help you guys give attitude saying if people don't like it leave i feel you are not hearing the people asking for help and just ignoring the problem i feel the bbb should have a look at this or maybe i should report to the news about how you deal with people in a domestic society and how your really not giving thwm the best care

There’s a subdivision of Marjorie, Mason and social services called Family stabilization. I was the very first client. I was pregnant with my daughter who is now eight years old. To help me get into where we are now. I’m forever grateful.

I was left outside in the freezing rain with my 9 year old snd 18 year old sons at 3:11 in the morning because they said they couldn't do anything for us. I'm in a domestic violence situation and just because I didn't get physically hit this time but I definitely have been hit b4 and I was threatened they can't help me. I have been here b4 and they did some messed up stuff back then as many donations as they get they done provide clients with cleaning supplies to clean the common areas which are assigned to each client..I have reported vomit or ppop on the batbroom.floors /sinks.and staff just sat there for.hours b4 they.got something so.it.could be cleaned.. My counselor at the time gave me an exit date and I was trying to find results for me and my kids to go she told me about a program through calworks and said she would find out if I was eligible. She never got back to me about it and so I asked my mental health counselor about it and she got me assessed and approved the same day. My counselor at Marjorie Mason did not care if I had a place to go. They have turned women away at times because they had too many kids and certain staff didn't want to deal with them. The donations they get they would make us buy then. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I just wanted to say when the Marjory Mason center was helping 2 years ago These are the meals I would receive everyday under their care and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate these very much like home cooked meals. This agency will always have my highest respect over all others that I've been associated with
