The Beacon House is the epitome of hospitality.

The facility was well thought out when designed, meticulously maintained and inviting. As nice as it is, it is just a building without the people who work there!

The staff is beyond amazing.

From management to housekeeping they are all very skilled in their role, but beyond skill and efficiency they all expressed genuine care, friendly, inviting and nurturing to those in need. Wonderful examples of loving your neighbor as yourself.

I'm a spiritual person and in moments of uncertainty my spirit engages in heightened awareness of those around me and those also in need. It was a blessing to meet others "going through something" and being able to comfort one another. With that being said, my spirit was at peace within the walls of The Beacon House.

Thank you all for your love and care. Thank you Mariucci Family and the countless others that gave out of benevolence who are honored throughout the building.

I can not give The Beacon House enough stars. My husband had a medical emergency while we were on vacation in Michigan. He was hospitalized for 3 weeks. The staff at The Beacon House welcomed me and gave me comfort and a place to rest during this very difficult time. This was truly a blessing! I don't know what I would have done had I not been able to stay in this wonderful place! Thank you to the staff and to the Mariucci Family! You made a huge difference in my life!

I am beyond grateful for this facility. I live 8 hours away and needed a temporary place to stay while my brother was in ICU. Simple rules to follow and they only ask for donations at the end of your stay. Thank you for allowing my family to stay here in such a need of time. A hotel would have been very outrageously priced on top of everything else falling apart around us, it was one less worry. Thank you to those who donate here out of their good heart, and the staff that keeps things running smoothly 😊 🩷

I recently stayed at Mariucci Family Beacon House during some of my radiation treatments. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the staff and fellow guests in providing a warm and comfortable environment during a stressful time. The staff goes above and beyond in making you feel at home with clean, cozy rooms and plenty of options to cook or have one of their delicious meals. It is within easy walking distance of the Hospital and there are shuttle services available from the facility.

I met some wonderful people going through similar experiences to my own and they became like family to me. Oh yeah; apple fritters (my favorite) with coffee - I am now on a diet!

I am completely in love with this place. Very friendly & accommodating. I have to be at the hospital for treatments on the weekdays for 3 straight weeks. They put me up in a room & even provide a home cooked meal daily. I will be choosing to repay them because I do not have the funds now but it is not required. Revives my faith that humans can be kind. I am humbled.

We cannot ever thank the Beacon House for everything they did for our family when our son was hospitalized. We had almost a month stay in the beautiful Beacon House, and the staff and volunteers became our family away from home. We wish we lived closer so we could be permanent volunteers. Guests have the privacy of a beautiful large room, a kitchen, an outdoor deck, a chapel, areas for socializing and quiet reflection, laundry, kids room…I’m sure I’ve missed some! We are happy to be donors now, and support the Beacon House for other families in there time of need. This is a really special place. THANK YOU BEACON HOUSE!

My wife's mother was admitted into the ICU in Marquette over the weekend and we needed a place to stay.... They "weren't able to" off their hospitality to me because I'm a felon! Make that shit make sense!?! So bc I've made a mistake in the past I'm not allowed a place to stay in a time of need!?! What a joke! How Catholic of you guys! Kudos to you for making a difference! 🤣🤣🤣
